2008 siverado. Front-end humming. Sounds like

it is your wheel bearing. the bearing is a sealed unit so you replace the hub assembly. remove wheel, caliper, brake rotor.if it is 4x4 loosen axle nut. there are three 15mm bolts on back side of spindle remove these and slide hub out replace with new one. most hubs come with new wheel speed sensor so remove harness from connectors or if no new one remove the screw holding it in place to hub and slide out.

Headlight assembly

Hello streets54, my name is JShreader. Thank you for choosing fixya.com.

First, you have to remove the Upper Radiator Grille. Behind the Headlamp at the top of the Front Bumper, access the lower inside hidden Headlamp Bolt. Only loosen the Bolt. DO NOT REMOVE. Now remove the 2 Headlamp Screws, then the Hidden Screw...now the Headlamp Housing should come out. I uploaded the procedure in .pdf format. You can download it by clicking HERE. I hope this helps you. If you have any more questions or need any more diagrams, please don't hesisitate to ask...Thanks again, JShreader!

Engine check light is on. computer code PO451 Can

It is a fuel tank pressure sensor code. Most commonly it is a fuel cap that wasn't put back on after refueling. If this sounds right, make sure the cap is on correctly and drive. After qa few hundred miles or less it should go out on it's own. Or you can clear the code and see if it stays off for the next few hundred miles. That is the most common cause for this. Check your mileage. You are probably still under the federal emissions warrant period. If this is the case and it is not just a fuel and even if it is, you can return to the dealer for a free repair. It's free to you but they still get paid by GM through the submission of a warranty claim. Don't feel bad to go to any dealer for this. It is an emission related issue and should cost you nothing if you are still in the emission warranty period. I'm pretty sure it's 6 years or 80,000 miles but my memory of GM warranty has faded.

Silverado wont shift back to 2wd.

What you have to do is go to a service shop and get the codes from the transfer case control module. This will help you find out what is causing the shifting problem. When the technician gets the codes there is a trouble chart that is followed to find the problem.Weather it be a sensor, wiring, switch,or wiring problem. This would be the best way to fix the vehicle other wise you are just throwing parts at it and this can be very costly.Unless you know someone with a scanner and a service manual this would help.Hope this helps.Let me know what you find out.Good luck.

Depending on what type of monitor it has its could be an easy fix. If they use a band type monitor that wraps around your wheel just have your tire shop pull the monitors off all your wheels and put all four of them on your spare. Given, you'll never know when your tires are low via dash light but we all managed to do without that for years anyway. On the plus side you'll be POSITIVE on the pressure of your spare.
