Chevy Cobalt P0411: Secondary Air Injection System ... - 700R4

https://www.700r4transmissionhq.com > p0411-chevy-... Apr 16, 2019 - P0411 is a general OBDII trouble code, which means that it has the same meaning for the Chevy Cobalt as it would any other car or truck.
The P0974 code is generic powertrain code related to the transmission, including pressure faults and sensor failures. In this case, the engine control module (ECM) has detected a fault with a high voltage reading from the shift solenoid A control circuit.

What is a P0700 Code? The P0700 code indicates that there's a malfunction with your vehicle's Transmission Control Module (TCM). This computer monitors your transmission and works with the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and Engine Control Module (ECM) to shift gears when necessary.

P0017 and p0014 cobalt 2009

So, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the codes are as follows. P0017-Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 1 Sensor 'B' Possible causes - Mechanical timing fault - Blocked oil passage - Low oil level - Faulty Exhaust ('B') Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor - Faulty Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor P0014-Camshaft Position 'B' Timing Over-Advanced or System PerformancePossible causes - Dirty Oil - Low engine oil level - Faulty Exhaust Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid - Exhaust Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid harness is open or shorted - Exhaust Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid circuit poor electrical connection - Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) Bank 1 So in short, you can try the oil change if its been a while, always a good practice, however the fact that its throwing both of these codes together, makes me heavily suspect that your car is experiencing the worst of the possible causes, all your symptoms are tell-tale signs of your cars timing being off, meaning a timing belt job is needed. I highly recommend trying your best not to drive that vehicle, if the timing belt grenades on you while your driving, it will cause catastrophic damage to your motor. I cannot stress to you enough to limit your driving. Timing belt jobs as a general rule of thumb, are anywhere from $700-$1000 depending on the shop, anything more and they are ripping you off. I hope this helps, Good Luck!

2009 Chevy Colbalt. Speakers

most probable answer is a bad wire connection. Check the wires that go to the door to the speaker. If they are ok, then check the back of the radio.

Sorry, almost forgot. This problem is in a 2009 Chevy colbalt.

Hello James I edited your post for you, although you can Edit your post yourself. Adding new posts as followups doesn't work here as posts are not nested or threaded together. This post has no context to the earlier one. If it is the speakers in the doors, the most likely reason for intermittent failure would be work hardened wires in the wiring loom where the wires join the door to the car body. Every time you open and close the door the wire is bent a little. You need a good automotive electrician.

Transmission dipstick location on a 2009 Chevy

It doesn't have one. To check the fluid you have to pull a plug from the passenger side of the transmission, by the CV shaft. Start the car and pull the plug. If fluid comes out, it is full. If not then add. The fill is the red cap on the top of the transmission.

2009 chevy cobalt has p0641 code with traction control turned off, engine in reduced power mode

Do you know anything about ECM five volt reference circuit's ? DTC P0641: 5-Volt Reference 1 Circuit The engine control module (ECM) has 3 internal 5-volt reference busses called 5-volt reference 1, 5-volt reference 2, and 5-volt reference 3. Each reference bus provides 5-volt reference circuits for more than one sensor. Therefore, a fault condition on one 5-volt reference circuit will affect the other 5-volt reference circuits connected to that reference bus. The ECM monitors the voltage on the 5-volt reference busses. The 5-volt reference 1 bus provides 5 volts to the following sensors: • The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor • The clutch apply sensor • The fuel rail sensor • The fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor • The intake air pressure and temperature sensor You have a shorted sensor more then likely or wiring problem . Suggest you watch this video . How to check the 5v reference circuit for short to ground Cadillac
