2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. I was changing the gaskets on the water outlet and I broke off the aluminum skinny pipe located on top of water outlet. How to fix please?

Question edited for clarity and typos. Question moved to model category. You just need to identify the part and replace it. Check the diagram on the top left. If it is part 7 it is discontinued, so you would have to remove it and have it MIG welded. https://www.gmpartsclub.com/v-2002-oldsmobile-intrigue--gls--3-5l-v6-gas/cooling-system--radiator-and-components https://www.google.com/search?q=2000+oldsmobile+intrigue+coolant+parts+diagram ..

1992 oldsmobile 88 royale needs jump to start but battery and terminals, solenoid, starter and alternator have been checked and are good. what else could it be?

It sounds like you have ruled out some common causes for the starting issue with your 1992 Oldsmobile 88 Royale. If the battery, terminals, solenoid, starter, and alternator have all been checked and are in good condition, there are a few other things you can try to troubleshoot the problem.
  1. Check the fuel system. A faulty fuel pump or clogged fuel filter could cause the engine to not start. Check the fuel pump and fuel filter and replace them if necessary.
  2. Check the ignition system. A faulty spark plug or ignition coil could cause the engine to misfire and not start. Check the spark plugs and ignition coils and replace them if necessary.
  3. Check the fuel pressure. Low fuel pressure can cause the engine to not start. Check the fuel pressure and make sure it is within the manufacturer's specifications.
  4. Check the engine temperature. If the engine is overheating, it could cause the engine to not start. Check the engine temperature and make sure it is within the normal range.
If you have checked all of these things and the problem persists, it is possible that there is an issue with the engine itself, such as a problem with the valves or cylinders. I recommend having a mechanic diagnose the problem in order to determine the cause and recommend the appropriate repair. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I have a 1999 Oldsmobile Delta 88. When I start

It sounds like you are having a problem with your 1999 Oldsmobile Delta 88. The issue you described, where the engine starts and then shuts off after a few seconds, could be caused by a number of things. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the fuel system. A faulty fuel pump or clogged fuel filter could cause the engine to shut off shortly after starting. Check the fuel pump and fuel filter and replace them if necessary.
  2. Check the ignition system. A faulty spark plug or ignition coil could cause the engine to misfire and shut off. Check the spark plugs and ignition coils and replace them if necessary.
  3. Check the fuel pressure. Low fuel pressure can cause the engine to shut off shortly after starting. Check the fuel pressure and make sure it is within the manufacturer's specifications.
  4. Check the engine temperature. If the engine is overheating, it could cause the engine to shut off. Check the engine temperature and make sure it is within the normal range.

Troubleshooting rochester 2gc carburetor --- I

It sounds like you are experiencing a problem with the Rochester 2GC carburetor on your 1957 Oldsmobile. The issue you described, where the engine is difficult to restart after it has been shut off for a period of time, could be caused by a number of things. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the fuel level in the carburetor bowl. If the fuel level is too low, the engine may not start. Make sure the fuel level is at the proper level and that the bowl is not leaking.
  2. Check the float level. The float in the carburetor controls the fuel level in the bowl. If the float is set too high, it can cause the engine to flood when it is restarted. Adjust the float level according to the carburetor manufacturer's specifications.
  3. Check the fuel pump. The fuel pump supplies fuel to the carburetor. If the pump is not working properly, it could cause the engine to flood or not start at all. Test the fuel pump and replace it if necessary.
  4. Check the fuel lines. Make sure the fuel lines are not clogged or damaged. Replace any damaged or clogged fuel lines.
I hope these suggestions help! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Are you in kenosha wi my parking lights will NOT turn off in my oldsmobile 1999 88

It sounds like you are having a problem with your parking lights not turning off on your 1999 Oldsmobile 88. There could be a number of causes for this issue, including a problem with the light switch, a fault in the wiring, or a problem with the light bulbs or sockets. To diagnose the problem, I recommend starting by checking the light bulbs and sockets to make sure they are working properly. You can do this by replacing the bulbs with new ones and checking the sockets for any signs of damage or corrosion. If the problem persists, it could be an issue with the wiring or the light switch. If you are not comfortable performing these checks yourself, or if you are unable to identify the cause of the problem, I recommend taking your car to a mechanic for further diagnosis. They will be able to identify the cause of the problem and recommend the appropriate repair.

Engine control module replacement

An engine control module (ECM) is a computer that controls various engine functions in a vehicle. It receives input from sensors throughout the vehicle and uses this information to control the fuel injection system, ignition system, and other engine functions. If you are considering replacing the engine control module in your car, it is important to make sure that this is the correct repair for the problem you are experiencing. The ECM can be a costly part to replace, and replacing it without properly diagnosing the problem first can be a waste of money if it does not fix the issue. If you are unsure about whether the engine control module is the cause of the problem you are experiencing, I recommend taking your car to a mechanic for a diagnostic test. They will be able to determine the cause of the problem and advise you on the best course of action.

Cars is making a noise when i coast

I'm sorry to hear about the noise your car is making. It's difficult to diagnose a problem without hearing the noise or being able to see the car in person, but I'll do my best to help. It's possible that the noise you're hearing could be related to the transmission work that was recently performed on your car. It's also possible that the noise could be caused by a problem with another system in your car, such as the engine or exhaust. To properly diagnose the problem, I recommend taking your car to a mechanic as soon as possible. They will be able to inspect the car and identify the cause of the noise. In the meantime, try to pay attention to any other symptoms or changes in the way your car is running, as this may help the mechanic to identify the problem.

  3. Inspect the wiring for the trunk light for any damage or lose connections.

98 Oldsmobile Aurora There's a on my Dash it says information center and has the oil fuel speed all that it says low oil is there any way anybody knows how to reset that

Check your engine oil using the oil dipstick located on the engine - you need to add oil to the fill line as shown on the dipstick. You should have the oil replaced regularly (every 3-6 months) and keep your eye on the level if the engine is leaking oil underneath or burning a lot of it.
