I would check for compression and valve clearance issues first.

There is a lot of information here. Could you thin it down a bit? Separate the issues into sections like just the Trans and then the electrical problems and so on. Don't assume the worst straight away. This could be something like a bad sensor or low transmission fluid. If the serpentine belt is that worn Replace It. If it snaps the coolant pump and alternator will stop working which is not good. If you are really concerned take it to a good mechanic and let them look at it. Some good repair shops will diagnose for free and you will get a better idea of how serious the issues are.

Was the oil drained after the overheating occurred? You may have contamination from just before overheating. Did you find the root cause for it? Low coolant / no coolant, stuck thermostat, failed water pump, etc. Or The cylinder head job was done badly, did they use a new gasket, did they torque the nuts correctly? Using an inferred thermometer check the temperatures of both the heater hoses that go to the heater core. The inlet hose should be about the same temp as the engine. The return line slightly cooler. If both hoses are not hot, then you may have a bad thermostat or restriction in the hoses. If you can see the heater core, check the different tube fins to see if they are hot or not. Check to see if there is a shutoff valve in the system.

The first thing to do would be to get the battery checked out and load tested. If you are in the US any Interstate Battery outlet will do this in 2 minutes and free of charge. I have a 2006 pathfinder and I find you have too turn it to max or hi it heats then and then set it back to required setting

When the head gasket is blown, always fit a new replacement gasket from the manufacturer, (after the head has been checked/skimmed to get it flat again as they warp). Also new head bolts are required.

Usually pretty easy apart from the fact you are doing it under the vehicle. From ones I have done. Undo the hydraulic pipe, undo the bolts on the slave cylinder and remove it. Check with your local wrecking yard to see if they are interchangeable.

The proper way to reset the ABS light in Micra is by clearing the codes with an OBDII scanner. The difficulty is that the cause of the light could be either a bad wheel speed sensor, low brake fluid, a blown fuse, or a malfunctioning ABS module. If that problem is discerned and resolved, the light should automatically go out. If it doesn't, that is when the codes must be manually cleared by a scanner. That is the best information I have found.

When you shift out of park, the emission system comes into play. I have seen this happen from bad grounding of the computer that controls the emissions system.

Have you had a battery disconnect recently? Did you try resetting the the security system and engine immobilizer?

I would check with a transmission shop to see if your car is one of them. They can check to see if the proper fluid type is being used and see if it needs to be serviced.
