thats just the tank venting as you are filling and driving off for the first time, nothing to worry about unless the smell continues then it could ither be fuel cap or maybe a perished fuel hose. hope this helped.

Starter motor or solenoid is going bad or cables are corroded. Clean all cables if car does not crank have someone try to crank it while you "smack" the started motor housing with a hammer or a long solid rod (hitting the rod with the hammer as it rests on starter motor case). Hit it sharply a few times. If it starts, then the starter motor is bad.

Yes, remove the switch and test with an ohmmeter. the run wire is brown/red.

You will need to flush the steering system and then replace the steering rack and pinion assembly to cure this issue.

Check earth strap from engine to frame and battery to frame.

Clicking indicate poor connection between battery posts and cable clamps...clean them

try this simple test start the car and hold at around 1000 rpms until the engine warms up now place it in gear with the handbrake on ( don't touch the foot brake if it is idling at around 800 rpms and is smooth, apply the foot brake if it plays up , replace the brake booster as there is a vacuum leak upsetting the idle mixture setting recheck by allowing it idle in neutral with the hand brake on and the apply the foot brake

Could be some faulty wires, I would check out the wiring to see if anythings been disconnected/ reconnect wrong.
