I have a Mazda Bongo RF6C engine, turbo diesel and it has a diesel knock. What could be the cause. Also on the dashboard the DPF light always flashes.

Diesel Knock is an injector issue. https://www.google.com/search?q=Mazda+Bongo+RF6C+engine%2C+turbo+diesel+and+it+has+a+diesel+knock The DPF status light is flashing. It's telling you a parked regeneration is necessary, and you need to perform it as soon as possible. If your Check Engine light comes on while the DPF status light is flashing, it means you need to perform a parked regen right away.

Tappets clearance on Mazda B25 please?

I'm assuming you mean the B2500? The clearance normally adjusts itself hydraulically. If your just checking the clearance it should be no more than 0.15 mm {0.0059 in} on a Cold engine.

Mazda etude model 2002 petrol filter location

There are two likely places. One will be under the car, on or near the fuel tank. The other location will be on the body panel at the back of the engine bay, (Firewall/Bulkhead). It is an 'Inline' filter so it commonly looks like a metal can with a pipe going into the top and bottom. Buy the replacement filter first then you will know what the filter looks like when your looking for it.

Hello, what is the head cylinder toque specs for a mazda demio DW engine 2001 model 1.3L

For a 2001 Mazda Demio (DW) with a 1.3L engine, the cylinder head torque specifications are crucial for proper assembly. While I can provide a general guideline, it's important to consult the specific vehicle's service manual or a reliable automotive database for the most accurate information. The torque specs can vary depending on engine type and production changes. A common practice for cylinder heads involves tightening the bolts in a specific sequence and sometimes in multiple stages. For many engines, the process might start at a lower torque value, followed by one or more additional steps where the torque is increased or the bolts are tightened further by a specified angle. For Mazda engines around that period, a typical torque specification for cylinder head bolts might start in the range of 20-30 Nm (15-22 ft-lbs) for the initial step, followed by one or two more stages where each bolt is tightened further, often ending with an angular tightening (e.g., 60-70 degrees) in the final stage. However, without access to specific information for the 2001 Mazda Demio 1.3L engine, this should be taken as a general guideline only. The exact torque specifications and tightening sequence are critical to avoid engine damage or leaks. It's strongly recommended to:
  1. Obtain a service manual or a reliable repair guide for the 2001 Mazda Demio with the 1.3L engine.
  2. Follow the specified torque values and tightening sequence exactly as described.
  3. Ensure you're using a calibrated torque wrench for accuracy.
If you don't have the manual and can't find the information online, consider contacting a Mazda dealership or a professional mechanic with access to a comprehensive automotive database. They should be able to provide the exact specifications you need.

Location of fuel filter on 2005 mazda 6 benzine 1.8 sedan 120hp

Most modern cars have the fuel filter built into the fuel pump itself inside the actual fuel tank. Replacing it isn't usually needed unless a batch of very bad fuel has been used or if the filter is on a very high mileage pump. If there is no inspection cover under the rear seat pad you will need to drop the fuel tank off and out from under the vehicle to change it.

I can't figure out where these two ground wires just below the throttle body and beside the gear shift cable go on my 2007 Mazda 3.

If they are just ground wires you can ground them to just about anything. There is one to engine block, one to transmission, one to alternator, one to body of the car, one to intake manifold (thats the hard one), one to the top of the engine, and if you really want to you can hook one up to the exhaust header, which supposably kills static electricity within your exhaust for less resistance. Shoot, even the bolts that connect the tranny to the engine would work.

Hi I have a Mazda 3 MPS on an 07 plate it has been

My guess is you need a new switch. These go out pretty frequently and Ive already replaced mine in the ole 2008 once. From the sound of things, if it was sitting for a bit, it may also have had some time to get some moisture in there which tends to rust out things quicker than anyone would like, especially on those pesky little electrical components nearest the outside. So it was more likely related to its general age and sitting without any air going through it for a few months that caused the failure, rather than being related to the jump start.

The heater won't work.

In my experience, heater not working can only be a handful of things. For me it's always been an undiagnosed or overlooked radiator problem. The heater in my Toyota Highlander would suddenly blow cold air every time the radiator got low on coolant/water, which was related to a leaking secondary radiator (it was a hybrid so it had two) and a clogged hose. Outside of that, there isn't much it could be, as there isnt a heater element to check or some sort of secondary system that handles climate control. Plus given your location and extreme cold, if the radiator had gotten low or was imbalanced with too much water, it may have caused a crack or deterioration of any number of components that would effectively shut down the heating system. The only weird thing Ive encountered on this one, is the climate control panel itself being so old that the temperature setting plastic bit inside the unit broke and it would no longer detect any changes. That was a quick panel pull, trip to pick n pull, and 20 mins of work. So go over the radiator systems with a fine tooth comb, then check the climate control units age/condition. After that its playing guess which wire is loose, corroded or broken.

My 09 mazda 3 will turn over but won't start I went through some huge puddles the other nite and while going through the last puddle the car shut off and now won't start but will turn over and try to

Did the same thing to a late 90s MR2 I believe, put an aftermarket intake in it, went puddle jumping in the PNW and sucked up a sizeable amount of water and had to replace the whole engine... Also, I have a Mazda 3 and the way the airbox sits in the front of the car leaves a fair chance water sprayed up into the bottom of it can get sucked into the engine as it just sits on top of the lower air intake and there is nothing sealing the two. In the pic, its piece #11 that sort of snorkels itself into piece #3 without much holding them together, they just sort of sit on one another. My money is on you sucking up a sizeable chunk of H2O and trashing the motor. 855bce4c7e757b61e63feed0539ab3e2-mlnxmspzheexapalfprjep4j-d-0_0.png
