Suggestion for Headlight Replacement
h4 head lights are normally 55/65 watts
head light brilliance is controlled by the condition of the reflector , the head light glass and head light alignment /aim
with the fitment of relays you can get up to 65 /85 watt bulbs but if the reflector is plastic then it will melt with bigger bulbs

Dash lights go through the light switch, any aftermarket addons? old and new multi switch have no effect? usually if any ground issues is towards rear of vehicle.
The left rear brake caliper
On most cars, the pressure equalizer valve is located on a terminal block near the lower part of the front of the car.
The terminal block, or manifold, is usually made of aluminum, and has many brake lines attached to it.
It may be hidden from view behind a metal or plastic panel.
I should like to tell you that replacing it will solve your problem, but please do not count on this.
If you have the option, you might ask an honest person at a Lincoln dealership parts department how many pressure equalizer valves they have sold in the last year.
Don't be surprised if he or she says "none".
God bless your efforts.
1996LINCOLN MACH III LOW COOLANT MESSAGE AND OVER HEAT x2
Sounds like sticking thermostat. Replace thermostat if you see no leaks anywhere else.
You need to drain out any bad coolant or water when you replace thermostat and refill with concentrated antifreeze until you have at least 50% antifreeze water ratio.
You have to bleed the engine with new antifreeze solution so there's no air. I always go to youtube and see how mechanics do each engine bleed. Search your car and engine and `coolant flush'. don-ohio
Lincoln mark 8 starts but won't stay running
Yeah... particularly the O2 sensors.. running rich ... weak
and intermittent...
Been there... Ultimately gave up a took mine to dealer.
After floundering around (and seeing I had already been EVERYWHERE they were looking) for two weeks...
They found one of the catalytic converters was collapsing blocking the exhaust... (jobbed it ou to a local muffler shop).
I have still never identified an elegant way to diagnose this issue...
Got to a point where it would not run...
At that point (had I known) I would have liked to try to remove the catalytic converter at the header to see if it would actually run
(CAN'T...
one piece)
Liquid wrench, & ear plugs would figure prominently in this process...
ELSE
do look up you muffler & cat prices
BEFORE going to an EXHAUST SHOP ($$$$)...
I figure I paid
$1700 where a mere $700 would have been pricy
(installed... I bet you can do better).

Is there a way to open the fuel door from the trunk?
Yes, look behind the trunk liner on the passenger side approximately where the filler cover would be and you will find a wire rope with a plastic handle on the end. Pull it about an inch and your fuel filler door will pop open.
