2000 Land Rover Discovery 2. I cannot find a leak detection pump but get a P1451 and P1481 code. Could this be the solenoid for the charcoal canister vent in the engine bay giving me the issues?.

Question edited for clarity. My late mother worked at the Land Rover plant in Solihull and put careful miles on a Disco when it was known as the 'J Car'. Also the first Vogue with a turbo. Land Rover Discovery Series II has the lights on the left front, rear left on at all times. Is it a fuse?

Unlikely to be a fuse blown. Doesn't your Discovery have Daytime Running Lights? If so the right side might be a blown fuse. If the rear lights are on, that mean you have the nighttime lights on. My mother worked at Land Rover in Solihull for 12 years. :>)

2002 Land Rover Freelander eliminate and type theft.

You can't bypass anti theft systems especially on a high end vehicle like a Freelander. My mother worked at Land Rover in Solihull for 19 years and put miles on the Freelander, the 'Rover J Car) as a test vehicle. Anyway, I digress. The Anti theft system is run by two computers (ECM and BCM), the anti theft module and lots of sensors. You have to fix the issue, not find a way around it. You need an auto electrician. A pro grade scan tool computer can interrogate all the electronics and the computer networks that join everything together. https://www.google.com/search?q=auto+electrician+near+me ..

Why is my 2008 Range Rover overheating still

Usually people check everything, change the thermostat and forget to check if the cooling fans work? The other possibility is that the water pump is failing. The simplest thing would be if there is a big air lock in the system and the water isn't circulating properly. No heat coming out of vents is a symptom of that because the heater core is high up in the system behind the dash. Read this Tip I wrote. Raising the front of the vehicle is important to fill the heater core as well as putting heating on MAX. https://www.fixya.com/cars/r29872074-vehicle_cooling_system_no_heat

I have a 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport. It will not start it only clicks. The 7e8 code comes up. What can I do to fix it?

The 7e8 code is a general code for the Fuel Tank Pressure System and is not a specific diagnostic trouble code. Get the vehicle scanned with an OBD2 diagnostic scanner to check for Trouble Codes. These will give better clues as to what's causing this issue. Comment with the codes and I'll try to help you more. If you have to pay for the scan ask at 4 or 5 different places as prices can be VERY different. On the starting issue have you checked the Battery? A flat, low or old battery can cause starter motors to struggle. Sometimes it is as easy as that. Is it a single click or a faster repeating click? Is it a loud or a quiet click? A single, quiet click could be the starter relay in the fuse box. A louder single click could be an issue with the starter solenoid or it's connection to the starter motor. A loud, fast, repeating click could be the starter motor itself.

It does sound like the suspension sensor module is throwing an error, when that happens it is putting your vehicle into get you home mode, ie it will limit your revs in every gear to protect itself. Find an independent garage that fixes Landrovers and it might just be a cheap sensor change, or even a dodgy earth .

My Land Rover is only engaging number all gears but only number 4 moves the car. What is the problem.

It's possible that the issue is with the transmission. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Fluid level: Check the transmission fluid level to make sure it's at the correct level. Low fluid can cause the transmission to slip or not engage properly.
  2. Fluid condition: Check the condition of the transmission fluid. If the fluid is dark or burnt smelling, it could indicate a problem with the transmission.
  3. Transmission control module: The transmission control module (TCM) is responsible for controlling the transmission. If the TCM is malfunctioning, it could cause the transmission to not engage properly.
  4. Transmission solenoids: The transmission solenoids are responsible for controlling the flow of fluid through the transmission. If one of the solenoids is faulty, it could cause the transmission to not engage properly.
If you're not comfortable checking these things yourself, it's best to take the vehicle to a qualified mechanic who has experience working on Land Rovers. They will be able to diagnose the issue and recommend the appropriate repairs.

2007 land rover range rover supercharged hads multiple codes popping up suddenly

The codes you listed appear to indicate issues with communication and data received from various modules in your vehicle. U0132 is related to the ride level control module and U1A4A is related to the differential module. The other codes are related to communication issues with various modules. It's possible that the brake light switch could be causing some of these issues, but it's also possible that there are other underlying problems. Without further diagnostic testing, it's difficult to say exactly what the cause of the problem is. Given that you live on an island, it may be difficult to have your vehicle properly diagnosed and repaired locally. You may need to consider shipping your vehicle to a dealership or a mechanic who has the tools and expertise to properly diagnose and repair the issues. However, it's always best to get a second opinion and consult with a professional before making a decision to ship your vehicle.
