turn ignition switch on position for 20 seconds then try to lock and unlock doors.if you have sun roof open sun roof fully then close sun roof fully. then switch off ignition switch then try to start.

hi, this is due to a couple of things. 1 is this a p36 or p38.
things like the door sensors will prevent this from lifting, its to stop it crushing your leg when foot is out.
more than likely there are 2 hieght correctors.
depends on the model. i see these where leg pops out, i get them in where a air bag has popped off, loosing all your air.
when its a p38 and lifted, if u dont push the button on the dash the computer gets confused and wont let it lift, this then needs a reset. i have lifted a lot of range rovers and the p38 is the worst, i use a 2 post lift, u got to push button on dash, this tells it its getting jacked up or lifted. i have forgot to push it a couple of times, a air bag drops off, u need tough thumbs to push it on.
listen to see if the compressor is running when running.
you must open bonnet start engine then shut door making sure all doors are shut, there is a box think it says eas (black box) you can take the cover to see it pumping, u will hear it.
if not you and none of this whats mentioned is at fault u have to have it 1 plugged in or 2 reset. hope this helps u. 1 more suggestion, im not sure about a p36, is the button on the dash on, orange light on, this locks the suspension for lifting, when down wont go up.

no year car told no country, sorry not the same. so get the SM , the service manual and its all there, every word. ask your dealer for the SM.and they do have and answer for this level of work,for sure. '

open glove box remove users guide read it, it is in the book. or the sM service manual most that raise have latch there to let it up or down if pressed the latch and force harder UP, it comes apart no year car told and are not these same nor country and not the same again google book or get it from makers support site , land rover in you county.

you have like zillion questions here on random cars. and what does LIMP MOSS mean, the glove box guide tells you how to reset oil change? mileage on ever car made on earth, having that if you learn to google the car users manual guide it is seen for free in vast places and the RANGE ROVER WEB SITE REAL. ALL THIS IS CART BEFORE HORSE STUFF.! 1- fuses are first blown 2: scan the PCm is next ,after all if PCM detects spark dead it cuts fuel dead in blink if an eye,(as in no crash and burn as seen on TV) 3: if above is not helping (no DTCS) the we,, we check fuel pressure on the rail, cranking or at idle. if out of spec we check FPR and the PUMP voltage. if pump is dead, 0 PSI (bar) we check voltage to the pump actual 12vdc good or 0v bad, below 11volts bad or battery is weak.! that is how all EFI is tested,not guessing, not discovering pins the PCM that floats (ever hear of tri-state logic) the output of a pcm or computer or any logic module can be 1; 0V GROUND DRIVEN STATE 2: 12v or 5vdc drivenstate 3: or floating, as in not used now and floats to save energy. best is work from a service manual and no guess and the real schematic. what matters is, 1: NO DTCs for spark dead, (p0300 is weak spark not dead) 2: pump pressure at spec, cranking and at idle of can be sustained. 3: if pressure fails cranked (a 2 man test) and 12vdc is on the 2 pins of pump cranked then the pump /FPR is bad. if voltage is wrong at the pump we work backwards to the point of failure on those 2 wires, pump feed. that how this is done, and not taking a bath in fuel tank dropped on a whim.

newer cars use BMS brain (and look MA, less fuses, sure less) and this brain has smart electronic fuses, (that auto reset) LED dead or what,/??? why looking for fuses no told but are in fact everyone told in the SM the rover service manual. newer cars also have smarter monitors on lamps and the error out for overcurrent or undercurrent if you'd have scanned the PCm it would show you exactly that. no problem told at all just HUNT for things that do not exist now. is this and LED upgrade project , not told nor al things that fail or do not fail ,related not sure me what's up here. at all. scan the PCM and or RESET THE BCM

use a hair drier and blow it dry, cross fingers for easy fix. water or drinks and electronics are bad acts. or replace the bad parts or have a shop fix it. check fuse scan the PC see the errors?

unlock your car with the key, put the key in the ignition switch, remove one of the battery terminals now switch the ignition to the running position then put the battery terminal back on this will bypass the rovers immobiliser and alarm system

open glove box pull guide (users) see fuse page for relay names. try cranking in N PRNDL ,no just P ? that is first but if starter is silent the relay is not. so if relay too is silent it is bad park/neutral switch is dead. scan the PCM with a scan tool,OBD2. see why it fails easy. park lock out must work first. battery charged. key on, step on brake pedal shift from pARK tro neutral and crank the engine. if Park switch was bad, Neutral is not.(joy)

Check your fuel tank breather's not blocked and tank going into vacuum.

1 Check for the "Remote Battery Low" signal message that is displayed on the vehicle's dash once the remote key battery starts to run down. Be sure to replace the battery is before it dies completely. If the battery is dead, it will not be able to start the Range Rover. 2 Buy the correct battery for replacement. Two round CR 2025 batteries are needed. You can purchase them at most major supercenters, camera stores or **** stores. They are a common size and should be readily available. 3 Use a nickel to remove the battery holder on the key remote. Turn the cover until the arrows line up and remove it. The cover fits very tightly and you may need a small screwdriver to pry it off. Remove the battery holder and circular ring from the remote. Take the old batteries out of the battery holder. 4 Place the new batteries in the battery holder. Replace the battery holder and circular ring in the key remote, aligning the arrows. Turn the cover clockwise until it is secure. 5 Resynchronize the key by simply placing the key in the door lock. Lock and unlock the door to the Range Rover and then press the remote control.
