My heater blower only works for about 1/2 second and then stops. What is causing this issue?

Possible bad wire in motor so it opens up and stops motor after heating.

the age of your car suggests a throttle body problem. the the logged fault codes i think will confirm this

Coolant light will not clear after filling with coolant

Are you sure it is the coolant light? The coolant system is a sealed unit and should not need topping up unless there is a leak!

I have a xk8, for the lasy three days when i lock the door with my fob the alarm goes off. It sounds like the doors are locking and unlocking repeatedly then the alarm sounds. Any ideas?

Check the relays first. Make sure battery is fully charged. Low voltage can cause problems. Try owners forum for Jag.

Xk8 headlight adjustment

Very old question but the answer is, they are self adjusting by a servo motor that determines ride attitude.

I have a 97 Jaguar xk8 and would like to know how to adjust the headlamps

I understand they are not adjustable in the normal sense and are self leveling via a servo motor that determines the ride attitude and moves the lights accordingly. Find a jag owners forum as to what to do next.

Welcome to Fixya

The car might be stucked in Valet mode. Use the black key that you have to open the trunk, it overrides the Valet Mode. The key goes in a hole that is between the X and the K on the emblem on the rear of the car.

After replacing the front bumper cover and rt h/l,

I'm not familiar with JAG but MOST cars have a switch in the front and the back that is called a fuel shutoff switch. I am going to say you may have bumped the switch and it shut off the fuel pump. The switch on most cars is located under the bumper area or around the grill area. Your best bet is to go to the local auto parts store and buy a repair manual for your car and start looking the the electrical schematic section to locate where the Fuel shutoff switch is located.

Car stalled at a light after running for 45 min. car restarted rough and sputtered badly, would not stay running unless gas pedal pumped continuously. car ran great until this problem

Sounds just like my experience with what turned out to be a bad Mass Air Flow meter. No warning, just very bad behavior from the engine, and heavy foot on throttle to get it going. Happened to my Wife. You can imagine the result when she got home. But thank goodness for cell phones!
