2011 Hyundai Elantra New transmission but vehicle runs in limp mode intermittently

As my old dad used to say "they must have seen you coming"! Are you, young, female, blonde and cute? :>D Engine tick is caused by play in the valve lifters and is an easy repair. It may have been the timing chain, but.... "Elantra's new, maintenance-free silent timing chain enhances engine durability while reducing noise." In normal circumstances, tick is not a reason to put in a new engine. It sounds like your issue is bad connectors to the ECU. They spraying the connectors with electrical switch cleaning spray. If that doesn't work, you need a good auto electrician with a professional grade scan tool computer to diagnose the issue. These computers can record exactly what happens to put the vehicle into Limp Mode. https://www.google.com/search?q=auto+electrician+near+me ..

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. How to program key fob for it please?

Question edited for clarity and toss in some CAPS. Question moved to model category. There is no onboard programming procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote. Try a locksmith before the dealership, they are usually 50% the cost. Mar 27, 2015

What does ICDE mean on a Getz stereo MP3 player

Did you remove the battery or jump-start the car recently? that gives your radio an ICDE error.
To fix it: Easy fix - firstly, you'll need to remove the stereo to get to the serial number. Have the following tools ready, either: a) 2 metal rulers b) 1 metal ruler and 2 kitchen knives you don't mind bending c) 2 kitchen knives and one fork you don't mind bending d) possibly 2 forks will also work
Okay, here goes (I used option c):
1) use a kitchen knife to remove the black plastic border around your stereo. 2) on either side you should see the metal bracket and a smaller metal flap - place your fork between the bracket and the flap on the left hand side. jam it in quite far, so it can release the internal clips. 3) place your knives so that the flat (non-cutting) edges are touching and jam it in on the right side (basically so it works like a metal ruler for the clips, which I didn't have on hand) 4) use leverage to prise the whole unit out slightly. You can then remove it by hand. You don't need to remove it fully, you just need to see the serial number, which is on the top in the upper, right corner. 5) take the last 4 numbers of the serial and do some maths! You need to add 1/2/1/2 to the numbers in sequence. For example, if the last 4 numbers are 9462 then your maths should give you 0674 (9 1, 4 2, 6 1, 2 2). Another example is 1234=2446. Remember the number you end up with!! 6) start the electrics of your car (2 key turns). The radio should say ICDE. 7) For this example, pretend the number you ende dup with is 0674. Press the "1" on your stereo until the first number after ICDE says 0. Press "2" until the second number says 6. "3" until the third says 7 and "4" until the fourth says 4. You should end up with the display saying: "ICDE0674". Press the "5" on your stereo and MAGIC, your radio is working again!! 8) push the stereo back in at re-attach the face plate.
p.s. I accept no responsibility if you get zapped or break anything while trying this. I may feel a bit guilty (but not responsible, remember) if I hear on the news that you got zapped though. enjoy your tunes!

2018 Hyundai Sonata. The Weather 25', dropped to -1. Drove to work fine, but wouldn't start to go home. Dash, lights, radio worked fine.

Based on your description, it seems like the car's battery may have been affected by the cold weather. Cold temperatures can cause a battery to lose its charge and reduce its capacity to start the engine. When the temperature rose, the chemical reactions in the battery sped up allowing the battery to regain some of its charge. However, there could be other reasons why your car wouldn't start. For instance, it could be due to a faulty starter or solenoid Determining that would likely take a visit to the dealership.

2008 Hyundai Accent automatic transmission, goes into reverse but no forward driving gears

This could be due to a variety of reasons such as a faulty shift solenoid, internal mechanical failure with the transmission, or an issue with the transmission fluid. It's possible that the car's transmission was damaged when it was stuck in the snow drift. The slight pause shifting from reverse to drive that you mentioned earlier could also be an indication of a transmission problem. I would recommend taking your car to a qualified mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue. You might get lucky-- but without a visual inspection, you may just hear the intimidating prognosis of a transmission problem. In the meantime, you can try holding your left foot on the brake while you shift into reverse. Then, as soon as you feel the transmission engage, gently depress the gas pedal with your right foot. This will eliminate the forward roll problem .

What carburetor fits my Hyundai Accent 1 X3 1997, it is the South African version. Not mistaken it has a g4eh alpha engine also 1.3l.

What issues are you having with the one you have fitted now? Have you given the old one a major service? The gaskets, diaphragm, idle jet and main jet. Sometimes the fix can be as easy as that.

Hyundai Atos 2000 one of the front wipers not working.

Try this test. With the key OUT of the ignition stand outside the vehicle, reach out and try to move the broken wiper blade by hand. Does it move with no resistance? Does it feel like 'clicking' as you move it? Does the other wiperblade move slightly as you move it or does it not move at all? This will help work out if it is the wiper arm slipping on it's drive spindle or if the problem is deeper down underneath in the rods and arms moving the wiperblades. Please comment below with this information and I'll try to help you more.
