My check engine light is blinking at me and the
This is either a clogged catalytic convertor or a failed O2 sensor or both. A good muffler shop can fix this easily.
Dont replace the o2 sensor until you have verified that the catalytic convertor is good, or you may burn it out.
A quick way to diagnose a clogged cat is to check exhaust pressure and heat from your tailpipe. Restricted flow = Heat plus steam plus low pressure. Sometimes there is no steam.
With the ignition off, the rear tail lights won't turn off
hiya if the rear lights are remaining on ? with no ignition it will be the brake lights staying on this is easily remendied/ checked by trypulling the brake pedal up by hand and see if lights go off ? if so then you will need to adjust the b/light switch which is positioned adjacent to pedal and can be screwed inwards towards the pedal untill the plunger on switch is pushed into the switch which puts lights off ensure pedal is fully up then adjust switch reconnect the wire/plug and press pedal slightly to ensure b/lights operate ok and then go off with pedal released ? on hyundai the brakelights do not req ignition on to operate hence more likely problem is as above good luck

Look at the videos it brings up -- it may not show exactly a 2001 Accent, but you should be able to find an engine that looks like yours and see where the MAP Sensor is.

Rear window washer does not spray fluid. When I
I have the same problem with my 2000 chevy blazer as skornec had posted. I kinda already figured the hose or spray nozzle was plugged. But the problem with checking those items is that I don't know where the hose is located to the back wiper. And the only thing that could be I see that could be the spray nozzle doesn't even have holes that washer fluid could spray from. So basically I just would LOVE if someone could please inform this lame brain of where to find the spray nozzle on the rear window and where in the interior of my blazer does the washer hose run.
Overdrive sensor
NO, just replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor, it is on the transmission.
Hyundai accent 2004 idle problem
Throttle position sensor could be the problem
Emmission control parts
You mentioned idler cable
Well there may be a second idler control cable
Some vehicles come with a double cable adjustment
The second adjustment is right above the gas pedal
Turning screw
Alternator giving out not producing charge needed
But overall if your cars idle bogs down the likely culprit is your ac bout to go out
The bearings in compressor wear out so it pulls more on the engine
In turn bringing rpm's down
Your car needs routine maintenance
Ac is an expensive repair so i suggest bypass belt till you can pay to have it fixed
