This requires special tools and equipment that you probably dont have. The timing on a diesel is actually when the injector puts fuel into the cylinder.

It means it didnt start on a previous attempt. It should clear on itself after a few successful starts. Or stop by a parts store that reads ODBII codes and ask them to clear.

Those signs are more of a personal opinion. I generally use the repair costs vs. value. If the annual repair costs exceed the value of the car, it might be time to replace it. If the car has a bunch of rust and animals are making their home in the rusty wheel wells, it might be time to replace it. If the interior is getting torn and the plastics are getting sticky, it might be time to replace it.

Just go to an Autozone with your vehicle information and which engine you have and they will sell you the right size.

Demise, very rare for the fuel gauge & radio not to each have a separate fuse? Does all the window switches not work or just the Master on the driver's door? Turn you key on and check each switch one at a time. Usually they are all wired through the Master switch so when that goes bad none of the switches will work. Autozone should sell that Master switch a lot cheaper than a dealer and might be able to print out step by step instructions on how to change it. Check all your fuses and make sure you don't have ones blown for the fuel gauge and radio. Hope this helps you.

The code 13 is the PATS key Transponder signal not received. It's the wrong Key or the key is faulty. You need get the correct keys or take the truck to a dealer, purchase 2 proper keys (not just any key) and have the system programmed in exchange for $$$$.Mar 25, 2018
