I don't recognize this fault code. Would you tell me how you retrieved this code? Code Readers and scan tools will provide the user with "P" codes. The letter P followed by four numbers. P0300: Random Misfire. There are more than just P codes. Just providing one example. Why did you look up this in the first place? What is wrong or not work? Which system is it that is showing a warning lamp?

Inside of the fuel tank. Your truck has a fuel sending module that contains the pump, level sender, fuel filter, and fuel pressure regulator.

There are actually many reasons your Omni starts then dies. I would look at the service history to maybe shed some light on some possibilities. Has it been less than two years since the last complete tune-up? Is the engine oil low, contaminated or smells like gas? Have you carefully looked around the engine compartment for broken or shorted wires? Have you noticed dry rotted or broken vacuum lines? Is there a strong smell of gas in the air after you have tried repeatedly to start the engine? Have you recently performed a compression test? Do you own a fuel pressure tester? A worn out or weak fuel pump could cause your symptoms. Please write back, let me know what you have done and noticed. Your the eyes and ears so the more information you can express the better. Hope this information helps. Good luck.

My personal suggestion
would be to go for these repair catalogs. I know this website that i used to buy them from, and they sold online it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.

get the a/c condensor recharged with a freon substitute, i use "red-tek 12a refrigerant", it is much safer than freon and is ozone friendly.

Jason what your describing is maybe a broken ring & pinion gear in the back pumpkin(rear end)? That or a broken drive shaft is the only two things I can think of.

One fault related to the fuel evap system and the others might be related to transmission problems, perhaps a single cause, however a really good scan tool with bidirectional software would help the diagnostic process a great deal.
