does the fuse keep blowing ?? it is also on the same line as the cigarette lighter if the fuse is blowing check that there is nothing stuck in the lighter socket that is shorting it out. Could also be a bad ground wire not makeinig contact.
I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 & its in limp mode, will not start pulls code p0562 & PO700/ low voltage and transmission control module anybody tell me what's wrong
The P0700 code indicates there's a mechanical problem with your transmission that needs to be repaired, and the computer has stored relevant trouble codes in the transmission control module. You'll need a scanner that can read transmission trouble codes, to see exactly which codes are stored. The P0562 indicates the ECM detects a battery voltage less than a specific value. I notice you charged the battery, but it could be something else going wrong in the charging system and causing the code. Here's how to troubleshoot the P0562:1. Visually inspect the positive and negative connections at the batteries and inspect the battery negative connections at the engine block. Are the connections free of corrosion and are they tight? If not, repair the poor connection.2. Check the add-on or accessory wiring at the positive (+) terminal of the battery. Are there any damaged wires at the battery? If so, repair the accessory wiring.3. Perform a battery load test using a battery system tester that can place a load on the battery. Did the battery(s) pass the test? If not, repair the weak battery(s).4. Test the ECM connection:Turn the ignition off.Disconnect the ECM harness connectors.Disconnect the battery terminals.Measure the resistance from the positive and negative battery posts to the appropriate circuits in the ECM harness connector. Is the resistance less than 10 Ohms? If not, repair the high resistance in the wiring harness.5. Reconnect the battery terminals.-Measure and record the voltage between battery positive pins of the ECM connector and the battery negative circuits of the ECM harness connector, then reconnect the ECM harness connectors.-Next, measure and record battery voltage. Are the readings within 3 volts of each other? If they are, you have intermittent power issues that will need further diagnosis. If they aren't within 3 volts of each other, your ECM may need replacing.

Are you getting a P0171 code too or is it just the P0174? Since you're getting a lean code, if it's not accompanied with a P0171, your MAF sensor may be just fine, especially since you've cleaned it.Has the fuel filter been changed lately and have you checked fuel pressure to make sure it's within spec? That would be the next thing I'd look at, since low fuel pressure will cause lean conditions. Is fuel pressure good at idle, under load and is holding after turning off the engine? Another thing to consider...a weak fuel pump can work just fine at idle and low speeds but not pump sufficient fuel volume at higher speeds, causing a lean condition. I'd move onto checking vacuum lines and intake for leaks if the fuel pump checks out good, then onto testing the 02 sensor at closed loop.
I have no dash lights or tail lights in my 98 Dodge Ram 1500. What can I do
This is a common complaint with the '98 Dodge Ram 1500.I'd start with checking the fuses for the dash lights and tail lights, first. If those check out as okay, I'd recommend disconnecting the tail lights and reconnecting them, in case a connection issue caused the problem (dirt, debris, corrosion, etc). It might not be practical to try and test the dash lights, so start with the tail lights and see what happens, if needed. If the tail light still doesn't function and the bulbs are actually good, it's possible your vehicle has a power/ground wiring issue or a faulty BCM (Body Control Module), which has been the case for many others. A bad BCM can cause various electrical problems with lighting etc in a vehicle, since it controls those functions.
2006 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 hemi crew cab
check and test front hubs [wheel bearings ] --engine shake poor performance can be quite a few different things ---have scanned for any trouble codes----some reasons needs tune up -pulley failing --failed motor mounts--sensor failing--fuel delivery etc
How do you remove the
1st jack and use jack stands to safely lift the truck.disconnect brake lines and cables, remove tires, unbolt universal rear end to driveshaft, unbolt center bolts from axle to leaf springs, pull the rear end out from the side-much easier with two people. reverse process to put the new one on. I assume when you say axle you mean entire rear end. If you need to remove one axle side just take off tire and brake then remove rear end punkin cover and pull shear pin to remove your ring gear and planetary gear-pull axle shaft.
