Hi, ill try to help. Did you try to disconnect the battery for about 30 sec and reconnect??? 522 code is oil pressure sensor problem. Disconnect may work for reset, but there may also not be oil pressure? This is the only solution I have right now. Maybe another expert has more info if the disconnect does not work.
that you didnt use your scanner correctly needed to hit enter one more time ----those are not codes they just show that their are codes present read instructions then rescan
Is the CEL (Check Engine Light) illuminated? If so, you can get the codes by following this sequence of turning the ignition key to the 'on' (not the start) position and back off. On-off-on-off-on and leave it on. Any stored codes will be displayed in the digital odometer. Write them down and then we can decipher them since they will be common OBD-2 codes. If you miss the codes, do that sequence again and write them down.
I hate to do it, but have to ask, who did the install? Chyslers have that floating ground set-up that has thrown even the best install guys into a fit. When I was doing them, I overcame that with aftermarket installs by running my own separate wires to speakers, and back to stereo. There are adapter plugs that are good for that available too.
My 2003 dodge diesel truck would loose all power while driving. I did have bad ground battery cables, thought it might be that changed them. Still did it. If my truck sat in the winter to long the batteries would go bad. Change them. Nothing. Changed to switch in the column still nothing. Next to the fuse box under the hood is a little positive terminal cap (it feeds power to the fuse box) I removed it to expose the screw. Then I followed the wire , it went straight to the positive battery cable terminal (it's molded into the terminal) I took a volt reading from the negative terminal to the positive bolt under the cap by the fuse box and took a reading (8 volts should be 12+) I took a jumper wire from the positive terminal of battery to the bolt under the cap and pow lights. I also noticed that the positive terminal would get hot before where the wire is molded into the lead must have a bad connection So I temporarily drove a screw right where the wire goes into the lead and problem temperately (probably just leave it) fixed. I'm so happy I hope this helps someone it took me a long time to fix this.
try getting some throttle body cleaner from you parts store, and give your throttle body a good cleaning. I just did that my self, after taking off the air filter unit off and the "HEMI" box (sorry i don't know what that's called) you will have good access to your throttle body. With the engine off, prop open the throttle body with a wedge, and you will see it black. When you spray the cleaner it will desovle right away, if not a soft brush maybe a old toothbrush and srcub. Also spray the air box, tube, and "HEMI" box. When you start it again it will run a little wierd but let it run for a couple minutes, turn it off then restart. Should be good as new.
Faulty ignition components or spark plugs may also cause backfires if the ignition timing drifts off or the plugs fire intermittently. An exhaust leak such as broken welds or other small holes can take in cool air during deceleration and cause a popping or backfiring in the exhaust system.
Sounds like you have done a lot, maybe it is time to go back to the beginning and start over. Have you taken to a dealer I know they can flash the computer to correct some problems. Their code testers can read and diagnose more precisely what the problem is over the normal code reader. One thing which pops in my mind, my brother truck quit shifting and speedometer quit working on 2000 ford. I went and change the speed sensor and nothing changed. After changing the speed sensor I decided to check to see if the speed sensor had power. No power going to the speed sensor, I found the fuse for speed sensor was not blown but missing. Some one had removed the fuse. After putting a fuse in place everything worked fine. Just saying might need to start over from the beginning. It depends on the catalytic converters if you have 2 converters you will have 4 O2 sensors one between the engine and the converter and another behind the catalytic converter so there's 2 sensors per bank the sensors won't be in the same place on the other side but they have to be there. I hope this helps. Take Care.
It's possible. Look in the under hood fuse block and find the Auto Shut-Down relay and feel to see if it clicks when someone turns the switch on and off if it does you need to have it checked with a scanner to see where the problem is.
If the scanner says no power or no communication just check the power wire on the computer and if there's power junk the ECM. I hope this helps. Take Care.
Ok if you think it is missing from 2 cylinders do a spark test to see where the misfire is then when you would of done that and if you do have spark at all the cylinders do a compression test on the ones that you don't hear a change in the running of the engine, and also if your check engine light is on her it scan to pin point the problem
I hope this helps you
Sounds like the trans could use a service, it might be too late to save it and will need a rebuild, but your description sounds like low pump pressure.
