After cranking over for a bit, pull a spark plug and see is it dry or wet. If it's dry, the computer isn't placing it into cold start mode to fire it up. Pour some raw gas on the air filter element and make it wet, put the breather cover back on, and crank it over. It will fire up. That means the water temperature sending unit/sensor s faulty and not sending a message to the computer. This is a very likely scenario. I wet my Toyota air filter with a pint of has, put the cover back on to seal it, and it fired right up and ran till he filter..........."ran out of gas".

The 2005 and the 2011 Ram's are different generations of truck. So it is not very likely the parts will match.
Try taking a photo of one and directly compare it to the other. If there is any differences like headlight or front grill shapes they definitely won't match.

Maybe!!!! Wire taps are not a good thing. But yes I do them also... Kinda a catch 22! But the bad thing about wire taps are that they carode the exposed wires. Recheck the conections where you made the connection. If it breaks contact then the locks might not work. Or if the conection at that point is grounding out and blowing your relay or fuse. But if your tailgate lock still operated when all others did not then chances are that one of the door switches is bad. after you recheck your wires, disconnect the battery for about 10 to 15 minutes. If it is the relay then that should let it cool off and reset itself long enough to work or atleast hear a click out of the locks when you power up again. LISTEN CLOSELY FOR THE CLICK. Have someone inside of the car and up by the front of the car and this will increase the chance to hear it. You do not need the key on for the test because the locks have power all of the time. Good luck and let me know.

Check the speed sensor on the top of the differential. It's the one that the ABS and the speedometer uses.

Bring the vehicle to a repair shop that has a Hunter wheel alignment rack. They will tell you what your suspension needs and do the correct alignment.
Sounds like tires and ball joints, possible control arm bushings . I need to do visual inspection and know make , year and model of vehicle to give a fairly decent diagnosis of your problem.

When engine is cranking all the systems get battery voltage. Engine running, the systems get generator voltage, that can be several volts higher. Some of those systems may be dealing with voltage drop, no jumper.
When problem is ongoing, have a helper crank it, no jumper, check for spark--proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. I don't know if that will pinpoint problem? It's a place to begin. Just my opinion.
