I can't say that I have ever done a Citroen, but most manufacturers use a twist off headed bolt as a security measure. You can usually get these to back out by using a sharp punch and small hammer to back them out.

Sounds like the wiper switch is failing. It's not uncommon.

Check on aliexpress for a silca key programmer V33. This is a programmer for the ECU which you can use to reprogram the ECU to accept ID chip keys. If I remember correctly xantia uses ID46 or ID48 keys. You buy a used key, remove the circuit board and ID chip from it, put it into your own key, and then you have to program all your keys to be valid for the ECU. I haven't tried it on my own xantia, but have used it on another car with succes. 2 possibilities, Airbag clock spring in steering wheel or passenger seat sensor may be faulty. Either way you need to replace both with appropriate bypass resistor to test. Disclaimer. Airbags will explode/deploy if you do not know what you are doing

Sounds like you have a leaking valve cover gasket which will need to be replaced. The gasket will continue to break down and leak more if not fixed.

Diesel or petrol? If it has overheated in diesel too expensive - replace with 2nd hand motor If petrol sometimes heads warp and can be replaced but pistons may need to be replaced as well. If camshaft belt breaks it is rare to take out all cylinders, sounds more like severe overheating. if so pistons usually seize then let go but rings remain in grooves letting compression into sump and blows oil out extremities like timing case and rear main seal at gearbox . Can be tested by pouring 25mm of engine oil in cylinder then re-testing compression> if rings compression will increase. If valves the compression will not change. Good luck

Try to clean the terminals of the battery. Take then off and clean with sand paper, both on the battery and inside the terminals.

Sounds like a faulty sensor have them checked by a garage
