You have a faulty starter solenoid. It is part of the starter though. It may be a 'refurbished unit' which just means a clean and check over.

• Dec 29, 2022 2003 car is not like 2015, not by a mile. the modules are all married, IMMO is serious you can just replace it, you will never like the price of the tools to do that, thousands. so ask what it costs to do it. then ask others how much they charge or the dealer. it is not PnP plug and play part. most cars the PCM,.BCM and cluster and IMMO are married as one, (dealer only) not told 1 BCM failure is one output dead, that line is shorted? did you know BCM have smart output regulators that shut off if shorted and self reset when say a shorted lamp is replaced! they sure do. ask how to diagnose BCM BY DESIGN and can save life 80MPH and dead lamps wake up on the fly, imagine that. or post a real problem was your BCM stolen? yes there always is a story, some are tragic. To repair the BCM or any control module for that matter, they have to be reprogrammed which means that a dealer or some specialist must be one to complete the task because they monitor the security codes that enable reprogramming of these systems. one thing not to do is this, many new cars, the married set sees you trying top hack in wrong BCM, it will reset the the IMMO to dead. not you just caused a 2nd very expensive problem to fix. do no tread 2002 post read only 2014 for Tahoe or get led down the prim rose path to H3LL. on some if it sees 7 keys wrong tried, it bricks the set. sorry they make the rules not me and ever newer year is more strict. why not call local shop (real) not some hacker and ask for BCM programming services on THIS CAR. do so and not make it worse. OKAY?

well it is married to the PCM and the alien cluster is not allowed the cure is at the dealer. ,THE RE_marriage. magic, all modern cars, even the odometer is blocked, for this so hacker can not hack the odometer miles remember the old'n days as seller jacked up rear of car run it in reverse for a week rolling back the ODOM well this has progressively gotten more strict ( the marriage stuff) our service manual no read RTM is why you do not know this. a brave new world this is. (this dictates fuse boxes) my guess HVAC topic but no sure, what fan/blower or turbo this is. climate control model has left and right controls and all differenet wiring max. differ. fuse Hvac1, hvac-ECas, and fuse BOWER< yes 3 fuse must not be blown and the BCM is the brain here. not scanning the PCM to see BCM errors is a huge error in testing manual controls the resistor block uses a relay to send 12dc to he blower set to HIGH. all resistors bad ,high still works. here are the 4 things to fail; 4 is good so 3 things, 2 fuses, #3 is relay. to fail. a volt meter finds this easy for sure reading this page in the SM.below 3 pins on relay are at 12v. so are pin F and G 12vdc if not input to them is bad. not counting bad wires.,
