Sounds like you have a weak battery, test the voltage. If battery is fine then your starter relay is the culprit. Clean all terminals in battery and relay, corrosion on the connectors will cause this too
Hello,
The "ticking" you hear is probably the solenoid trying to "connect"
The solenoid is the round thing that is the first thing the large red cable from the battery runs to. There are more wires connected to the solenoid..the TWO big ones carry the power from the battery and then jump it to the BIG cable that goes directly to the starter. You can CAREFULLY "jump" the two big connectors ON the solenoid with a screwdriver ( CAREFUL - SPARKS WILL FLY!). If the motor turns over you have a bad solenoid. Key does not have to be on, you just want the motor to turn over. NO open fuel sources!!SPARKS WILL FLY WHEN YOU JUMP.
Try this and repost, let me know.
If I try and pull start it and it just makes noises tried to jump start it and dose nothing what could it be I bought a new battery but no way of checking if it's charged or not
