Polaris Ranger TM will not start. Been in and out of shop over past 3-4 weeks: Replaced voltage regulator. Started twice over two days, then did not start. Replaced Starter (bendix not engaging flywheel). Started 3 times over two days, then did not start. Replaced battery, igition switch. Started 1 time on one day, then did not started. Replaced starter (bendix not engaging flywheel). Started 3 times over two days, then did not start. Right now it is not starting. lights work, so juice is leaving battery. Lights do not dim when trying t start, here some clicking sound. Will not work if jumped, battery shows good voltage so I do not think it is battery. Had 6 years, 420 hrs, never had a problem till a few weeks ago.

The unit should have a starter solenoid right next to the battery. If the lights are not dimming when the key is turned. then the contacts on the solenoid are bad.

2013 Polaris Ranger 800. How to hookup a starter solenoid in it please?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Cars and Trucks to make model category.

The Solenoid Relay?

This? Test it.

Wiring, these is also a 'Start Diode', not sure what that is about, a diode only lets voltage travel in one direction.

The Polaris forums are a good source of information.

Battery light flashing while driving

A flashing battery light while driving on your Polaris 700 EFI could indicate a problem with the charging system. Here are a few possible causes:
  1. Faulty alternator: The alternator is responsible for charging the battery while the engine is running. If the alternator isn't working properly, the battery won't receive a sufficient charge and the battery light may flash.
  2. Loose or corroded battery connections: If the battery connections are loose or corroded, the battery won't be able to receive a full charge from the alternator.
  3. Failed voltage regulator: The voltage regulator regulates the output of the alternator. If the voltage regulator fails, it can cause the battery light to flash.
  4. Failed battery: If the battery is failing, it may not be able to hold a charge even when it's being charged properly.
It's a good idea to have your Polaris 700 EFI checked by a professional mechanic to diagnose and fix the problem.

2010 Polaris ranger crew 800. having a hard time starting. Was not charging, replaced stator, voltage regulator. Started charging. still hard time starting. replaced solenoid, starter, relays.

what is it doing? you said starting. like is it not cranking over? because you mentioned the charging system.
or is it not firing up when it cranks over? because you also mentioned starting system.

Will Polaris Ranger start with a bad regulator?

Yes, it will start but it has a tendency to drain the battery. I had the same issue with mine and the dealership couldn't find the problem. I had a buddy verify the drain via electronic troubleshooter. I replaced the regulator and haven't had any problems since then.
