Hi I have a 2013 Kawasaki Mule 4010 gas that was running then the DIF light came on then shut off by itself and wouldn’t run again, I replaced the stator and a spark relay, still nothing, somebody told me it’s the computer (photo attached). I bought another running mule, was running great, I wanted to make sure the computer from the first unit is bad, so I plugged it in the running unit but it didn’t run, so I plugged back the original one, and now won’t start. Please help me. Thanks, Ray

Before you start throwing parts and money at it... have you checked to see that it does not have spark? I see you are going the electrical route only. Batt fully charged?

Sorry I know nothing about the model but just wanted to mention, by 2013 you can expect passive immobilisers and everything carrying a code number and the various black boxes talking to each other and if they don't recognise each other by the code numbers embedded in them they simply won't work and fitting a computer with a different code could have put everything else in a really bad mood.

I think you need to research things a lot more deeply before you lay hands on either of them again.

SOURCE: i have a 2006 kawasaki mule trans 4x4 it gets gas spark plugs are firing but will not run

Hey Mike,
An internal combustion engine only needs three things to run...(assuming the internals are all good)..

1. A properly timed spark
2. Correct air/fuel mixture
3. Compression

which of these are you missing??

My Kawasaki 4010 Mule 4x4 diesel blows a fuse every time I use the brakes. What do I look for?

Something is shorting to earth on the brake lights.

Get a pack of fuses.

Remove left side bulb. Brake, does is blow the fuse?
Remove right side bulb. Brake, does it blow the fuse?
If yes to the above, it is the light fitting or wiring rubbed through to that light.

If no, it is the switch or wiring to the switch on the brake pedal.

does it ever shut off or will just run til doomsday. if it finaly stops then it probably working fine but if it never stops then you probably have a temp sensor gone bad.

First is the engine Diesel or Gas?
if it is a diesel engine it has almost got to be a compression or fuel problem if it is a Gas engine it can be a valve adjustment, fuel, compression, or spark problem
