The Sunl's are notorious for the stator going out. Check with your dealer for specs on testing the stator. It could also be the CDI unit too! I hope this helps

Replace the spark plug caps and try again. On Honda's the cap is often part of the wire (a dealer part) NGK makes some inexpensive plug caps about $5 each. They should OHM out to 5000 anything above or below and you need to replace them. This should fix the problem.

Check that the intake manifold is not cracked or separated, extra air might cause you to need the choke. Some times the first carburetor cleaning does not do the trick. Take the carburetor off again, take out the slow jet, and shoot through it with cleaner to make sure it is clear. Now shoot through the passageway of the body and make sure that the body of the carburetor is clear . When all passageways in the body are clear then reassemble and put it back on. If the air screw is set correctly you should have a machine that idles.

I had the same problem on my 2003 Kodiak. It ended up being the CDI Box. The Warn Winch was the cause. I had to replace the CDI Box on my twice before figuring out it had to do with the winch since it happened only after using it. I used the winch before when new and never had a problem.

Try taking the spark plug wire apart and make sure it's getting contact on both ends of it. If it is try replacing the coil if your getting power to the coil but nothing to the plug
replaced coil, no fire still
My guess would be a bad stator
