Taotao 250 will not move when put in gear - ATVs

belt drive broke or clutch is sticking on belt drive assy

My bear tracker was running fine then all of a sudden will go into gear and not move but can push it while it's in gear what could be the problem?

Have you tried to lower the idle? When an Auto/5speed shiftable transmission is stopped in gear the drivetrain holds it back or loads it down a bit. If you take off a load the idle will rise. Sounds like your idle is too high. Do you have your idle set high to keep it from stalling?

Chances are your starter is out, get a replacement.

SOLINOID IS NOT KICKING THE DRIVE GEAR FORWARD MAY BE POSSIBLE TO TAKE IT OUT AND LUBE IT IF THAT DOESNOT WORK ITS REPLACEMENT

check for a micro switch under the seat, on the foot brake system
indicates that by starting when pulling the wire you are breaking a ground circuit that stops it from working

i think we can all say on here take to your local bike shop have that auto start ripped out and have them put in a key if worrying bout it getting stolen chain the thing down
also the key fob is a magnetic sensor loose connections

belt drive or chain drive? belt loose, chain shear pin bad ? gears stripped? several reasons here ! hard to say w/o more info sorry!
