How to install a pull start on my atv - Yamaha 2011 Grizzly 450 Auto 4x4

check battery most likely dead

u plug what in ? i dont understand question. put it in neutral turn sw on not off. turn gas on pull compression release and pull rope to start. how new is this atv .may have key may not. check owners manual if u have one or go online and get one for your atv that will help you when starting.

check ebay for one, I'd say they're pretty cheap.

if this has been sitting,,even if it hasn't, #1clean or replace the air filter, #2have the carb professionally cleaned and set, and #3 replace the spark plug.

sounds like a short in wiring system, from kill switch to your push button start on handle bar

could be the solenoid or the neutral sensor switch

I have seen this on a few machines. Start tracing wires. Ground wire from the key is the first on Id check. Grounds on these machines go bad from vibration and rough terrain. Not to mention silt in the water.

If I try and pull start it and it just makes noises tried to jump start it and dose nothing what could it be I bought a new battery but no way of checking if it's charged or not

Pull cover & remove nut after bending down locktab.Replace sprocket with new. Retighten with blue loctite on nut & refold locktab so it can't come loose.Readjust chain slack to 3/4 " in the middle of chain. Retighten rear housing bolts.
