First check to see if it has a spark or fuel by spraying a little starting fluid into the throttle body. If it does not, check the fuse to the fuel pump. If it runs then you check to see if the spark is getting to the spark plug. If not check the fuses and connection to the ecm.
start with a new spark plug,if no luck,try looking for an earth wire that maybe loose.if all wires look good,you may have a bad coil lead.that is the lead you put on the spark plug.try those things first
You need three things to make any gas engine run, in this order double check make sure you have proper timing set, spark and fuel. Could be bad gas or a bad ground from motor to frame.
check the compression, REPLACE the spark plug with a new one, clean or have the carb professionally cleaned. compression should be at least or more than 100-110 lbs.
