Only if its totally electronic, you might be able to change it .. other wise its internally driven to klm.

They normally will do that if you have lost the liner or pad, when you go to apply the brake becouse of no pad of drum liner brake pads travels to far before it reaches the rotor when it does get there, piston fully extended and it will lock the wheel

It could be a bad clutch

If it is water cooled it is probably a head gasket.

For 99-03 or 04 they definitely do. Check it out - that's the 99 - 99s are different looks like for 99 the 2x4 4x4 used the same carb...



And the 2000-2003 0r 2004 all used the same carb - 4x4 or 2x4 - if yours isn't a 99-04 let me know and I'll double check.

a 99 carb works on either 99s

00-03 2x4 4x4 all used same carb

Make sure your drive clutch spring isnt broke.

try checking any inhibitor safety switches, one is likely to be faulty, under the seat, or gear selector or oil filter. they do have micro switches that will stop it from working if faulty, its just a guess but a good place to start looking.
