2001 yamaha 350 warrior that will start and idle but when you give it the gas it stalls.i've taken the carb off and cleaned it changed the plug. removed the wire from the emergency break lever. and it still wont rev up

It does have a rev limiter which helps to keep the engine from damaging effects. YOu will be able to rev until a certain amount of RPMs are reached, and then you will hear the engine decelerate.

SOURCE: Have put new fuel pump on ,cleaned carb,new plug, gets gas plug fires but won't start, checked compression at98# don't know what else to do .

The battery voltage on a Suzuki I had would drop low enough during cranking with the electric starter motor not allowing the spark to be strong enough to run, the voltage regulator also didn't function correctly once and as the battery voltage dropped during operation engine would start to bog down and cut out due to low voltage for the ignition system.
