I have a 2004 suzuki eiger 400 when it gets hot it shuts off if i turn the kill switch on the off again it starts but it will eventually will shut off,i changed the oil cooler fan switch but still does same thing,I hot wired the cooling fan it works so i don't know what it could be. thanks for any help

That is the high speed jet and it is set while holding throttle open at high speed. 11/2 turns ballpark same for idle screw.

With the info you have provided, it seems to point to the ignition switch as the problem. (the clicking you should hear comes from the solenoid contacts - not the starter button). There is probably one wire in the switch that has broken or come unsoldered or other wise not making the right connection.

The vacuum line goes to the smaller of the two fittings on the fuel petcock. Suzuki used a vacuum controlled auto shut off mechanism in many of their fuel petcocks.

Yup.It's getting hot.Check the fan relay is operable.Fans gotta run.Most likely a bad heat sensor tho.That's a water temperature sending unit that tells the relay when to turn the fan on.Ifya gonna own these toys,learn the basics on how to care for them.There is ALWAYS going to be something going wrong.Get a manual.

I assume you mean it wont crank with the starter? It could be the solenoid, the neutral sensor, kill switch or the key switch.
