When i put back my clutch hub do i have to press that safety lock

Arctic cat belt driven clutch belt very tight with driven end top of clutch and driven tight against axle. Has factory shims in driven. So tight it can hardly turn over. Arctic Cat 600zr. Efi ltd

You either have the wrong belt or someone removed the shims from the driven clutch.

I have a 05 arctic cat 400 atv. My problem is that it's has constant fire to the coil, with the key off and I can't figure out why.

sounds like the switch may be shorted, or a wire(s) have shorted to one another.... Find the plastic connector for the switch and unplug it... it should not fire.. if it does.. maybe someone has hot wired it??? ... BE CAREFUL!!

The starter engages and starts the motor fine when the motor is cold. however if you ride and try to restart the starter just spins and you can only start using the kick stater.
