2007 honda rancher efi idles then dies . you can flutter the throttle and it will come out of it but stall at base idle

When was the last time you gave this atv a major tune-up..A Professional carb cleaning, a new air filter, a new spark plug..? This should clear up your issues,

Sounds like the throttle position sensor is going bad, take it to a professional and let them trouble shoot it.. it WILL be cheaper in the long run!!

check for a vacuum leak first... then suspect a idle control solenoid issue

throttle position sensor bad ? map sensor equipped ? not sure on that model but be my starting point. not sure if adjustable idle ? efi . does all that i think. read owners manual and see if they use injector cleaner of any kind. pressure regulator can cause this too. wish i could help you more. i need go back to school on that one. sorry please let me know what you find thanks

Check the fuel filter. It could be collapsing.

vaccum leak ? hoses cracked at connector. intake manifold leaking ,cracked ?
