Smack the starter with a hammer or a wrench if the starter isn't turning over then it's bad if it does crank and won't start your CDI may be bad you've all ready replaced the little stuff sounds like it your starter is bad hope it not CD I if it is replace the stator as well and buy them on ebay it will save you a ton of money If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/brandon_79b580f5a99c4386

Your pilot jet in the carb is plugged up or to small you will have to pull the carb out and clean it if you have a wire brush you can use 1 of the needles off it that will fit in the tiny hole in the pilot jet push it through and then spay carb cleaner through it and the main jet put back together and it should run fine If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/brandon_79b580f5a99c4386

You seem to have many problems with this ATV reading the different postings have you checked the compression on all 4 cylinders if so what were the readings ?

Remove and clean the valve coming from the tank

Check for corrosion at the battery terminals

fuel runs from the tank to the carb I figure. not much to it.

did you check the float in your carb?

.035" or refer to owners manual

1st. change oil and filter.. use 10-40.. if that doesn't quiet them... .0025"-.003" on intake .004" - .005" exhaust should do it... if they are too tight,,it won't idle down fast or well.... or excessively tooo tight -won't start..too loose they rattle or if there is a lot of wear.. the rocker arms may need replacing

take the thing to a shop.

voltage regulator... new battery (first) meter should read 13+ volts over 4k rpm and up

bent shift fork,, or shift shaft arm,,.. could be the gear..not likely, take it to a trained mechanic

Your Charging system is not working. You may need to replace the alternator. The only reason it runs when you are hooked to a charger is your battery is not holding a charge and the alternator is not producing the electricity needed to fire the spark plugs. When you hook up to charger, you now have the voltage necessary to fire the spark plugs.
