Hey Heather,,, Sounds like the throttle position sensor is bad. It won't let the engine start while it is "sensing" wide open throttle. This is something for the repair shop... 70 miles.. Warranty???

when you moved make sure you did not hit the kill switch that will not allow a spark .. the other thing you can try is to see if there is a spark. you can pick up a spark tester at any auto store

ok when you say it wont start does that mean it will not turn over or does it mean it does turn over well but will not fire

Might have corroded battery terminals which would cause the alternator to be loaded from the current demand from the winch that it is killing the engine. Try cleaning all battery connections and if that doesn't work, your battery may not be able to handle the current surge of the winch due to age.

2 ways f you have a gas shut off on the bike you can shut it off and turn the bike over a few times to dry it out . best way is to remove spark plug blow it dry be carefull not to bend the prob. or just replace the plug any one should help you get it going if you have spark

If the shocks are worn out, get off the machine and lift up on the back rack. This takes up the slop between the shifter box and the transmission, and usually allows me to shift. I also had an issue with the thin steel plate behind the shifter box. Got a crack in the top , so it was flexing, creating more slop. Welded it shut, good as new.
