Check the main fuse to the ignition switch. It will either come directly from the battery + terminal or pick up from the "hot" meaning "positive" side of the starter motor relay. If it comes from the relay you will locate it by following the main "positive" lead from the battery. From the relay you can then trace it to the main fuses. Hope this helps you out.

Clean the battery contacts really well. Are you using the vehicle, or is it just being stored? The charging system may be having problems due to a weak connection. Or there could be a trickle drain happening (like a small light that is being left on and draining the battery).

Fully charged battery should read 14.4 volts. Try a jump from a running car, see if that helps. If not, your engine may be siezed.

Check the battery, fuse and related connections assuming that it has no power.
If the engine will spin over with the starter button and it will not start then the first thing is make sure it has fuel in the tank, second make sure it has spark on the spark plug, compression test next. Also listen to see if you hear the fuel pump running.

If the shocks are worn out, get off the machine and lift up on the back rack. This takes up the slop between the shifter box and the transmission, and usually allows me to shift. I also had an issue with the thin steel plate behind the shifter box. Got a crack in the top , so it was flexing, creating more slop. Welded it shut, good as new.
