Sound like someone turned off the focus asst light in the the menu of the camera, Need to turn it back on.

the dvr may be full need to delete some of the stuff on it..

might be your hard drive that is faulty. try to format it and see what happens.

nitevision is in monochrome.. but if the irs dont work in that camera need to either get an ir light for that unit or replace that specific camera..the ir board is burnt out..or disconnected..I have several systems in use at different locations and I do installs for residential locations..I get some of my units off ebay..

Connect a microphone and enable the audio. It should all be in the settings. Check each camera to make sure audio is enabled. Usually it is off by default.

do you have audio cameras, they don't usually give you the audio cameras with a standard setup, on the back of the dvr there is a plug for audio its either a phono plug or a mic input socket, this can be used in one room or outside depending on the mic you have to buy. you then wire this up to the cctv and have to setup the sound to the camara number.
