How can I replace battery?
Hi, if the device is under warranty you should send it in for service. The battery is not user accessible on this device unless you open the device up which would void the warranty. As far as I know the battery is not even orderable from Motorola.
Hi
I use symbol MC9090 HHT
Download the image from Motorolla/Symbol support and put it on an SD card. Put the card in the slot underneath the keyboard. Do a cold boot and hold down the left scan button. Dock the scanner and keep holding the button. It will launch the image installer and take off on its own at which point you let go of the scan button.
Model N410 /MC9090
Increase the default time-out to 5 minutes by going to:
Control Panel > Power > Advanced
Select On Battery power: Turn off device if not used for 5 minutes.
'tab' button doesn't work on Motorola MC3190
You get 3 different keypad models of the Motorola MC3190:
- 28 Key Numeric
- 38 Key Shifted Alpha
- 48 Key Alpha Numeric
So depending on the type of keyboard your model has, using TAB are different across these 3 keypads.
Please Note: Keypad functions can be changed by an application so the mobile computer keypad may not function as described.
When the FUNC button is pressed the icon "F" appears on the taskbar on WinCE devices or the icon "Blue Circle" appears at the bottom of the screen on Windows Mobile 6.1 devices.
In order to use the TAB function, do the following:
28 Key Numeric - Press the blue FUNC button (Bottom right next to Power button), and press the RIGHT ARROW button.
38 Key Shifted Alpha - Press the blue FUNC button (Right side below RIGHT ARROW button), and press the RIGHT ARROW button.
48 Key Alpha Numeric - Press the blue FUNC button (Right side below ENTER button) and press the number 9 button.
Speaker Volume Adjustment on a Motorola MC3190 Handheld Barcode Scanner
We have 'pens' that we can use on the screen, so I was able to click on the 'Window' icon at the bottom left corner, select 'Settings', then 'Control Panel', and double-click on 'Volume and Sounds'. I only work with touch-screen guns, so don't know how to get there without the 'pen'... though finger nails have worked, but it's tough with a small icon in the corner like that.
I don't know of any way to get it to vibrate. With our gloves, we wouldn't feel it anyway. In a warehouse, having the clicking sound loud enough means we can hear if a box is skipped or an error occurs.
Will not print
Try to download the driver from the internet by writing the full name/version # and install it on your laptop.. OR
connect your printer to your laptop then right click on My Computer - manage - device manager.. then you can see a yellow mark, try to update it or make it update its self through internet, if not just try first one.
