There are 2 rotate buttons hidden in YouTube video editor, but you can hack to reveal them. If you find your
YouTube video uploaded sideways, please follow this guide make the two hidden rotate button visible:
1. Go to your YouTube channel, click
YOUTUBE STUDIO and it jumps to the channle dashboard;
2. On the left menu, click
Videos and find the sideways video, click
Details and it jumps to the video details page;
3. On the left menu, click
Editor, then click the
ADD BLUR button at the bottom of the page and it jump to the area where you can unhide the rotate buttons;
4. Right click the
Trim button and choose Inspect element. Then it open a new panel where you'll see some code. Please notice the highlighted section of code and look around to find a section that contains the word '
rotate';
5. Find the code contains '
hidden=true'; double click the word '
hidden', delete it and press Enter. This will reveal the rotate buttons which you will find beside the
Trim button.
6. Close the element panel and now you can change video orientation on YouTube;
