Hi all. I have a Philips NP3300, the warranty is well out by now as I have had it for about 5 years now. It started playing up and going into recovery after power was removed sometimes, it would loop recovery a few times for maybe 5 to 10 minutes and then boot properly. Now last night (Sunday) it froze when in standby (showing the time) at 9:10 pm, it was put in standby at around 2 pm saturday, Monday morning I come to it and see it's frozen so remove power and now for the past 2 hours it has been recovery looping. I'm guessing the nand is failing/failed but don't want to get rid of it. I'm experienced in pcb repair and smd soldering, also I have access to a flypro sp8 programmer if I need to pull the data. It is no computer its dedicates streaming media appliance. called Streamium (aka Internet radio device) you must be in Europe posting to USA on an object we can't buy. I guess you skipped the story about it failing 100% and now attempting to recover it? is that it,. would not new batteries be first? not other acts? try removing batteries and run on DC power pack (AC) first? AC power only run....just like we do in dead laptops. it is 8 years old first sold 2011 there may be batteries inside, we look very carefully for them. even a tiny coin cell battery to keep the clock working. the only large batteries are in the remote control. but inside there may be a coin cell. what are the full symptoms, first.?????????????

My apps say loading but nothing happens. How do I get my youtube back?

Try deleting the existing YouTube app and download a new copy. (YouTube changed its apps a while back.)

If you're able to access the internet, this should work.
