The "stylus" to give it's correct name, is always connected to the cartridge it fits in. That should have a make and number on it. If you put that into Google search, it should come up with the correct stylus. General they just slot in and out of the cartridge.

Some people accidently obstruct the remote sensor on the system so that the remote can't send the signal. Check that it's not obscured by anything, including the position of the unit. If that doesn't make any difference then either the remote is playing up, or the remote sensor has a fault on it.

The mat can be removed from the platter. Under this there are often holes through wich you can see the belt and motor. The belt should have some play in it but if it pulls away easily it probably needs replacement. Sometimes there is a C shaped clip holding the platter on. If so remove it and lift the platter. Otherwise the platter just sits on a bushing around the spindle. Lightly lift the platter and if it still doesnt come off you can LIGHTLY tap the spindle while lifting the platter and that should free the platter. If it is in one piece measure it lay it flat and measure it end to end and then double that measurement. The most common is 23.6" however there are 20.7", 25", 28" and 38.8", MCM electronics has them for a few bucks each. Simply place it on the inner ledge on the bottom of the platter and stretch over the motor pully. If the speed seems off check the placement on the bottom ledge and the pully. The belt if places d too high or low can ride up the pully to the top where its wider and make the table fast.

I did NIOT enquire about finidng"solution for the Yorx DM100 Shelf System Problem" BUT INSTEAD asked "Is it possible that a belt may need to "warm up" before a reliable w&f reading can be obtained? Should there be any difference between a warm or cold belt?" Could this question be addressed, please? Thanks.

We have the same problem with a different model Yorx TV. The sad part is that this TV has a great antenna that gets clear reception but its built in and the converter the government offers doesn't work. If you get a solution, drop us a line as it might work for us. We will do the same. I am actively pursuing a solution using a "smart tv antenna" made by RCA. I will let you know how it turns out. i need help with the Yorx portable tv 5". i think the model no. is PT 1901 ... can you tell me if this will still work when the digital comes in. it runs on batties as well... I NEED HELP WITH THIS TO KNOW HOW I CAN STILL HAVE IT WORK...
