you will have to take the carburetor off and replace the needle and seat. that is what keeps fuel from running in when not running. its is not a hard job there are you tube videos that show this process.

You probably have in your area a number of small engine repair shops. You will have to get on the phone and start calling around for a used mower deck. They usually have many old mowers in there yards. If you decide you only want new it could be very costly. GOOD LUCK.

Remove retaning bolts on the housing make sure all the old rope is ggonerewind the housing useing a screwdriver to hold it in place thread the new rope through the housing release screwdriver and reattach to motor.
