take battery out for 10 15 min. then plug back in.

on the back of the unit, put the Set/Auto button to Set.
hold down the Clock button (to the left of the Wheel) for a few seconds, the numbers will start flashing.
turn the Wheel left or right for up or down for the hours.
press the Clock button again to set the minutes the same as above.
press the Clock button once more and it is done.

or, put the Set/Auto button to Auto, and when you plug in your device it will automatically set to the device clock.

this stuff it do not power itself from the ipod cause it is on a 3.5 jack ..so it has a battery ..and it is the only thing that you should verify cause it do not has any other controls but the +and- in frequency ..so ..check the battery and change it ..or see the contacts of the battery to be in place...also verify if you plugged it well..cause sometimes from the hurry you may plug it other way around

For a 2nd gen iPod touch you need to go into settings and turn on the video output.

well your lucky the dock gave up the ghost before your ipod.
it's possible there is some damage to your ipod also but those docks will fry your ipod toot sweet.
I would not use the dock at all but if you are i would first try hooking your ipod up to a computer with a usb just to make sure it's not damaged in the charging port.

if you have a RCA jack in the dock you can use that, but the ipod is not made to play through the charging port, the docks are an after thought and I am not sure why but possibly incorrect voltage or voltage surges, but i have replaced at least 30 motherboards of customers who played them on docks.
your ipod wouldn't by chance be a 30gb video or a 3rd gen nano?
seems those are the 2 most susceptible to this issue.

My Warning: if it still plays music leave it off the dock

I have one of these MicroMics coming as well because none of my other microphones work with the micromemo. Have you found any help on this? I'll post again when I get the mic.
