Reset maintenance kit on a xerox colorqube 8570?

There is no "reset", except to replace the Maintenance Kit. That will reset the life back to 100%

When printing a document that contains both a letter and an envelope, there is a delay between the two.

Hi Dawn, Not wanting to sound silly but I'm assuming that your printing from two separate trays, would a small amount of time to transfer from one paper path to the other. By this time I'm sure you must have sorted it by now. Good Luck.

There is a red light in the ink storage area, and all new ink generates errors

Hi Jason, Transferring from one type if ink to the other without telling the printer is a definite No, No. You've just got to get in touch with Xerox. I assume you have it sorted by now anyway. Good Luck.

Eror code 093-555

Get in touch with the friendly Xerox Engineer, I think I remember this error code being the Cyan print head is not performing as it should. A bad batch of Cyan was allowed onto the market a lot time back and the plumbing and print heads became bunged up, due to crystallisation within the hot wax. Hope you have a service contract! Xerox 6600dn can it scan slides

If you mean can the printer print onto film slide to display on an overhead projector then I'm almost sure it can, however ensure the slides are of reputable quality i.e. Xerox slide material because the material will fuse and stick inside the fuser causing an expensive mess to rectify. Good Luck.

Yellow patch error

Not too sure what you mean about a yellow patch error. Does this 'Yellow patch" have a splurge effect or is it more regular? The only thing I can suggest is try several purges of the head. The other possibility is, some torn media stuck deep inside the print unit further investigation would be necessary. Good Luck.

My workcentre 3550 multifunction printer is constantly printing a configuration report, how do I fix that?

Anthony, Please remove the paper and see what happens next. Open up the print driver and look to see if the queue is full of prints not sent, If so, delete them from there. Check over the information the configuration page if any thing looks irregular. Check the settings against the copy first printed when the printer was first installed, it might be tucked inside the machine panels. This problem looks like finger trouble to me. Further investigation is needed. When your sure everything is as it should be, replace the paper in the tray again. Good Luck.

Does not detect tray

Look inside the machine, down the back of the paper tray, can you see any sensors that could detect if the tray has been installed. Has there been any external damage to your paper tray, does the paper lift when you turn the paper lift gear by hand. Try those points first. Good Luck.

Anthony, I'll assume your printer is wasting paper. Firstly remove the paper, that should stop it, then try and enter Centreware, check the www.Xerox.com website as to how to do that. From there you will have more control from there. Replace the paper as a check, and hopefully the problem will be sorted. Good Luck.

How do I change the cartridge region from a xerox workcentre 3550

The toner cartridges have a small CRUM chip fixed on the end of each tube. If you change them from a previously empty cartridge then it will still show empty. You just can't fool them. Good Luck.

91,721 Printhead Tilt Fault A Printhead Tilt error has occurred. The following troubleshooting procedure applies to this error. Initial Actions • Reboot the printer and verify the error persists. • Check that the Process Drive gear train is properly homed. • Check for obstructions or ink spills around the Printhead. you might need a service manual if you can't fix it with this simple simple actions. Xerox printing all black pages

You have no light output. The system places a charge, the image will remove charge (without image processing, the system leaves full charge ) (removes charge where no image is if negative processing) EX: a copier has platen closed makes a copy because the cover has a white surface the light is reflected and removes charge from Drum. If you make a copy with platen open out put will appear black. Charge was not erased, toner is attracted to charged area. Most systems use a small wire to place charge, depending on what development (pos or neg) with broken wire will also result in either a black or blank output. I would look for a broken charge wire.

I am getting error 94,7000.00:114.36 on my Xerox 8570 Printer. It sounds like a lot of spinning on the maintenance kit when I boot it. Any suggestions?

You need to reset the inital alignment of the printer. This process its perform at the start of the machine. If u need the service manual mail me at; [email protected]
