Forgotten my computer access code

If you are referring to the power up access code screen that comes up when you first turn on your computer, it can be erased by removing the disc type button battery located on your motherboard. Make sure computer is un pluged from the power source. Remove the button battery for 30 seconds. Re-install it and power the computer up. It will boot up normally. If you are referring to a lock out of your Operating System, you will need to purchase a password recovery / reset program and load it into your computer during start up using the boot drive options selections located in your start up / set up menus. Its usually called: Boot Options or Boot Drive Options

Hp xw8400 drive door wont open after it reads a

Straighten a paper clip and push it inside the small hole just above the open/close button while you press the button. You'll need to apply some force. This is usually caused when the gear inside the cd/dvd rom is not working properly or damaged. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

17"?, may be not, it may be a learning tool on electronics repair.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). Either this is a overheating problem, need CPU fan for this. If this doesn't work, then it could be a hard drive problem. If not, then motherboard is probably going bad.

The chargin element is defualty and this unfortunitly is part of the motherboard logistics you will need to replace the element on the motherboard or the motherboard itslef witch can be costly.

I'forgott my computer access code. What to do?

Do you mean you have forgoten your account login password?. If you have press Ctrl > Alt + Delete and enter you administrator passowrd. This should be administrator for username and password.

Once in click Start > Control Panel > User Accounts. Find your Username and change the password. Click Apply

Log Out and you should be able to log in with your new Passowrd.

If not change the password using your Operation System CD.

X2 gen 17" lcd monitor, no display

This indicates either a problem with the monitor cable(ie shorted) or the display adapter. Try plugging the monitor into a different computer and if it works you will need to install a new display adapter in your computer. If it doewn't work on the new one either you can try a different monitor cable if yours isn't permanently connected. Hope this helps
