my timer seems to have same buttons, but not same model. first you have to put in the correct day and time. next you push the prog button it should be for time to start timer first, then it will ask what day or days to you want it to work they will be flashing at the top of the screen if it is like mine you can pock one day, Mom - Fri, Sat & Sun, or all week, when what you want is flashing press set, now the times should start to flash set hour first and if not sure if it has AM and PM use the 24 hour clock say you want it to come on at 5pm that is 1700 hours off at 11pm that is 2300 hours. after pick hour press set, the mins will blink, pick press set, then the sec, press set so now it should be the come on time. press prog again and it should be the time off now press set, pick days same as above set, hours set, min, set sec set. that should be what you need. I always try it on a lamp that I can set on the kitchen table and play till I know the right sequence. set for it to come on now everyday and stay on for 5 minutes if that works than just do the same thing all over again for the times you actually want, saves waiting to see if it is going to work. Mine has about 4 different programs that can be set on same timer, I have never got that brave, but I would assume it is just the same procedure on prog 2, 3, or 4. good luck hope it helps

Push on-off button to set timer.
5 possible settings:
F always OFF
O Always ON
Choose1-9 for ON at dusk and OFF 1-9 hours later as set
Choose D for ON at dusk, OFF at Dawn
Choose 1.-9. for ON right now, OFF 1-9 hours later as set
