Maybe is how you're using it: just make sure that you're using the Manual Cycle correctly, be sure to push "clear" button before you add a new ingredient.
Is the kneading blade correct in place? Does it turn when he machine is empty and you switcht it on?

I had the same problem. I soaked the inside and underside of the pan (where it connects) with vinegar for 40 min. then scrubbed area with toothbrush. where it connects. I also scrubbed the part that holds the pan in unit with vinegar and toothbrush. It works properly now. It just needed "descaling" so to speak. Good luck!
If that doesn't work, call the mfg. for advice.
Maybe try taking the loaf out sooner . Keep a check on the bread when it is baking and stop it before it burns.
