Remove the filter and check,if any thing is blocking it.Also remove the brew basket out and see inside if its getting clogged. The water should enter the brew unit then only it will start brewing. If the water is getting blocked or less water is entering due to clog.It will not start brewing.------Check out.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.
The coffeemaker is leaking water
There are overflow apertures at the back of the pot, might it be there is slightly more water than the 12 cup capacity? or Does it leak from the top of the basket.. that would indicate that there is some blockage where the coffee exits the filter basket. I have also noticed that if you use a very fine grind the drip process is slowed down and the water backs up. See if that helps, if not ask again stating what you have tried.
