I had the same problem. I called the Volvo dealership in Albuquerque and a fellow walked me thru the steps:
First, get in the car, turn the ignition to the on position. Then turn off. Get out of car. Lock the doors with your fob or with the key. Then, unlock the car with either your fob or your key and get in. Insert the key into the ignition and turn the key. Car will probably start.

Hi,these days you can buy the mirror on its own,you have to put a old plastic bag underneath the mirror housing to catch the glass, and with a small hammer tape the glass to brake it into smaller bits then carfully clean all the bits out you can use a old would chissle or flate headed srewdriver to scrape out the bits that you cant remove by hand and clean with a white spirit to clean eney dirt off.
when cleaned you are ready to replace glass,on the back of the glass there is a sticky side peal off papper and stick on.(make shore when sticking the mirror on you get it in the wright position before sticking you cant put it on and then take it off and try again,so get it wright the first time).

You must have a dual climate system This is one of the failures of that system in all makes of cars..each side has it's own hot cold sensors that open and close the air blend doors..if one fails the door will remain in the last position...some are an easy fix but others are a big job..need have it checked..good luck..

sounds like there are dead cells in the battery if you have a warranty on it take it back and get another one. when you get a hot battery in it your heater should improve because the heater draws from the motor if it is hot

There is a relatively common fault of the antenna in the receiver (around the key hole on the steering column) going bad. Basically, it doesn't detect your key properly and then it refuses to start.

You could tap or bang around a bit around the column to see if you can limp it along, but replacement is the most likely course of action. Check the link I attached, it's not that expensive.

You might want to make sure that's the problem (call FCP) before you buy the part though, to be safe.

Replace the radiator cap with the proper pound pressure cap. If still does this, could be a bad water pump or collapsed lower radiator hose.

Most likely the vent tube has fallen partly off. Remove the rotating net from the dash and put the vent tube back on. If no screws, it just pops on and locks with plastic tabs. Use a plastic blade to push the tabs up from the front by pushing up on them.

Take the radio out. It's on a sticker on the side of the radio chassis. Write the number down. Replace the radio to its original position.
