55 in vizio tv with vertical lines. Is it fixable?

What's the model of your TV Martin? I have a feeling you have a bad panel but can get you more info with the model, if a tcon didn't fix it and you cleaned the connectors and they look ok, no bent pins or missing pins I doubt new ribbon cables will help.

My vizio tv has sound but no picture and already did the flashlight test

If your Vizio TV has sound but no picture, and you have already done the flashlight test, it may indicate that your TV's backlight or power supply is malfunctioning. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the cables: Make sure that all cables are properly connected between the TV and any devices you are using, such as a cable box or DVD player.
  2. Check the input source: Ensure that the TV is set to the correct input source that the device is connected to. You can cycle through the input sources using the input button on your TV remote.
  3. Power cycle the TV: Turn off your TV and unplug it from the power outlet for at least 1 minute, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This can sometimes resolve issues related to the TV's power supply.
  4. Reset the TV: Try resetting the TV to its default settings. You can find this option in the TV's menu settings.
  5. Contact support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it may indicate a hardware problem with the TV's backlight or power supply. In this case, you should contact Vizio support or a qualified technician for further assistance.

My Vizio M502i-B1 S/N LTYWRLAR will not turn on.

If your Vizio M502i-B1 TV is not turning on despite the power board, fuse, and power cord being in working order, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
  1. Check the remote: Make sure the batteries in the remote control are fresh and that the remote is functioning properly. Sometimes, a malfunctioning remote can prevent the TV from turning on.
  2. Unplug the TV: Disconnect the TV from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and try turning it on again.
  3. Check the input source: Make sure the TV is set to the correct input source. If the TV is set to an incorrect input, it may appear to be turned off.
  4. Check for lights: Look for any lights or indicators on the TV that may be on or flashing. This could indicate a specific issue with the TV that can be diagnosed and resolved.
  5. Contact Vizio support: If the issue persists, you can contact Vizio customer support for further assistance. They may be able to help diagnose the issue or recommend a repair service if necessary.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be best to have a professional repair technician diagnose and repair the TV.

(Solved) I have a Vizio E601I-A3 and the bottom is bright but it fades to a bit darker all the way up

You have an edge lit tv, most sets have several strips of LED lamps but this model has one row at the bottom of the panel and uses a defusing screen to spread the light. You have three possible issues, you said you had the set apart and replaced the LED backlight strips, did you tape the defusing plexiglass and screens together so you know what order they go back in, they need to go in the correct order if they get mixed up the bottom will be brighter, if the plexiglass isn't all the way against the back of the frame it will cause the light not to be spread to the top of the screen the way it should, the last possibility, and I think this is the issue from what we're found at our repair shop, when the individual backlight lamps burn out it puts more voltage on the working ones and can melt or warp the defusing plexiglass, this makes the bottom brighter. In most cases we're found the defusing screen needs to be replaced after the LED light strips are replaced.

How to fix Vizio tv that doesn't turn on

If you have already replaced the power supply board and your Vizio TV still does not turn on, there may be other issues with the TV. Here are a few steps you can try:
  1. Check the power outlet: Make sure the power outlet you are using to connect your TV is functioning correctly by plugging in another device.
  2. Check the power cord: Inspect the power cord of your TV for any damage or loose connections. If the cord is damaged, replace it.
  3. Check for blown fuses: Locate the fuse box in your home and check if any of the fuses are blown. If a fuse is blown, replace it with a new one.
  4. Try a different remote: If you are using a remote to turn on the TV, try a different remote to see if the issue is with the remote.
  5. Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above steps work, it is best to contact the manufacturer or a professional TV repair service for further assistance.

Vizio M3D420SR No Power No Lights

If you have checked and confirmed that the voltage at the PS_ON pin does not change when hitting the power button, it is possible that the main board (756TXBCB2K013) is the faulty component. The main board is responsible for sending the signal to turn on the power supply board (ADTVA2419XYG). You may want to try disconnecting the main board from the power supply board and then pressing the power button. If the voltage at the PS_ON pin changes, then it confirms that the main board is faulty. If there is still no change in voltage, then it is possible that the power supply board is faulty. Alternatively, you can also try checking the capacitors on both boards for any signs of bulging or leaking, as faulty capacitors can sometimes cause issues with power supply.

There could be several reasons why your Vizio sound bar is flashing standby and powering down. Here are a few things you can try: Check the power supply: Make sure that the power supply is properly plugged in and that the outlet is functioning properly. You may also want to try plugging the sound bar into a different outlet to see if that resolves the issue. I have a Vizio M657-G0 TV with an odd backlight problem

It could be either bad LEDs or a faulty driver board. If it is only 1/2 of the LEDs that are pulsing, it's likely that the LEDs may be starting to fail and need to be replaced. If the issue is only with a few LEDs, then it may just require some maintenance to get them back working properly. If the issue is with the entire backlight, then it is likely the driver board and will require a replacement

Vizio modelE55-E2, 55 inch tv goes black after turned on?

There could be several reasons why your Vizio TV goes black after being turned on, including a malfunctioning power supply, a damaged display panel, or a faulty backlight. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the power supply: Make sure that the TV is properly plugged in and that the power outlet is working. You may also want to try plugging the TV into a different outlet to see if that solves the problem.
  2. Check the display panel: If the TV is getting power but there is no picture, the display panel may be damaged. Look for cracks or other signs of physical damage to the screen. If you find any damage, you may need to replace the display panel.
  3. Check the backlight: The backlight is responsible for illuminating the screen, and if it is faulty, you may experience the symptoms you described. Look for any signs of damage to the backlight, such as flickering or uneven lighting. If the backlight is the problem, you may need to replace it.
  4. Reset the TV: Sometimes resetting the TV to its default settings can solve the problem. To do this, unplug the TV from the power source, wait a few minutes, and then plug it back in.
  5. Contact Vizio customer support: If none of these steps solve the problem, you may want to contact Vizio customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or help you arrange for repairs.

Vizio V555-H1 tv still works but the screen suddenly now has a white fog over entire screen. Even when the TV is powering up when the Vizio logo appears the black background is no longer black

The symptoms you described could be caused by a few different hardware issues. One possibility is that the backlight system, which provides the TV's illumination, may have failed or malfunctioned, resulting in the white fog over the screen. Another possibility is that the LCD panel may have developed a fault, which can cause discoloration or uneven brightness across the display. Both of these issues are typically not easily fixable through user adjustments or software updates and may require replacement of the affected hardware components. I also believe that to further diagnose the issue, you could try connecting an external device, such as a game console or DVD player, to the TV and see if the white fog and black background issue persists across different sources. If the issue is present across multiple sources, then it is likely a hardware issue with the TV. If the TV is still under warranty, you may be able to get it repaired or replaced by Vizio. It's also worth noting that in some cases, the issue may be caused by a faulty T-Con board, which is responsible for controlling the timing and signals that drive the LCD panel. This is another potential hardware issue that can cause issues with the display. Do notify me if the solution helped, I will be glad to help you more.

I am trying to fix a Vizio E60u-D3 flat screen TV. I'm trying to determine if I have a bad screen or a bad T-Con board.

It's possible that the T-Con board or the screen is damaged, but it's difficult to say without further testing. However, based on the symptoms you've described, it sounds more likely that the screen is damaged. Covering a pin on the ribbon cable from the T-Con board to the screen driver board is not a typical solution for this kind of issue, and the solarized colors you're seeing are indicative of a damaged screen. If you have the necessary technical knowledge and equipment, you could try swapping the T-Con board and see if that fixes the issue. However, replacing the T-Con board is not guaranteed to solve the problem and may not be worth the cost and effort if the screen is indeed damaged. In general, handling a flat-screen TV can be delicate and cause damage, especially if proper precautions are not taken. It's possible that you damaged the screen while replacing the backlight strips. To avoid further damage, it may be best to seek professional assistance if you're not confident in your ability to repair the TV.
