What information is given in the manual ? BTW, AFAIK, 2gb SD cards and 2gb SDHC cards are not interchangeable - do you have the correct one ?

Why would you put music onto a camera ?

Might be that the card is too large/small for camera to recognize, or it is a newer type of memory. Look up the specs for camera and compare to stats of memory card.

Did you format the card in the camera ?

Why not use a USB card reader ?

Fixya does not supply software of any kind - your best bet is to contact Vivitar service dept.

you may get software to try and look for the deleted files (if they were actually written to the SD in the first place) the data in files are usually not deleted until something write over the data. its only marked as free space. but if it is lost. dont be upset. you will end up with many many hours of videos and pictures of your child :) one single lost xmas video will mean nothing in the long run How to recover deleted files

Try a different USB cable or in a different USB port on the PC. All USB cables are not alike. There are charge only and data only cables. Other cables will do both.

no not a vivitar website. it is a driver download for old and out of production drivers. not just for cams but any older computer drivers for network,video,etc. there are free driver download websites but require some searching. best way is to look into a driver update program if old software is installed. I use the free version of driver updates from io bit. http://www.iobit.com/en/index.php more than just drivers too. cleaners,defragers,and uninstallers. all with free versions. might want to check them out
