On many of the Viper models, the symptom you are describing is because the remote battery is low. The remote can't be too far from the vehicle. If it is, the system see it as you forgot about the vehicle being remote started, and shuts it back down. A weak battery creates a weak signal and makes the unit 'think' you are far away. The Viper website has instructions on how to disable the whole system, there are many different versions, so find the box and get the model number from it, you will need that to get any further.

It is possible that you need to reprogram the remote. 1st you need to enter the remote into programming... Hold the Function button until the remote gives a long beep and LED light comes on the remote a (it takes about 8 sec.) Then press and hold the remote start buttom until the remote beeps 3 times and LED lights up. Now your ready to program the remote One of the door has to be open . Insert the key - turn the key to the On position then press the button on the antenna once and then press it again and hold it You hear a chirp and then you press the lock button on the remote and then you hear a second chirp to receive confirmation and then release the button and the turn off the key .Remote should be program

You have to take the front off. You need a small device with a sharp edge, slide It down the side of the push button and pop it open. You will see the batteries to replace. Bws

I assume you are talking about the sound the body computer generates, I would suggest taking it to the dealer to get it re-programed if that is the problem.
